Man, Bradley is so funny. "Are you guys seamen?" "I'm more of a fishman, actually" He's got so many of these little moments, it's lovely and it cracks me up. "You're gonna sleep with the fish" "Well, I always sleep with the fi-..." And he gets cut there and nobody noticed but hahahaha

Kai started off the first combat the right way Verona would be proud

Can't wait to see Yokan's reaction to the real nature of the Marines, Spooky's laying on the love of the Marines thick

Yokan's head is gonna pop like a grape when she hears about the Warlord system. I don't think she even registers pirates as anything other than dark matter, let alone humans with human motives.

I hope Bradley introduces himself everytime by saying "My name's Bradley I'm a rogue, Now you see me now you don't." while rolling for stealth and vanishing away. Also during normal stealth rolls too.

2Spooky decided that he wants to be waifu. Respectable.

Damian and Yokan are so much fun. I love how everyone has already a dynamic with each other. This is going to be a great campaign.

Happy 1st birthday to Noble. He won't escape it, even in an other story 😁

Kai is truly a hidden gem amongst the crew. Never fought a day in his life, is a fisherman in One Piece(those dudes gotta deal with Sea Kings on some occasion), never trained in the sense for combat, and even so he's pretty innately strong. Even if man could've died this episode. I'm saying it now while I don't think he's ever going to be a leader for the group, man going to pull out to be the strong one in the end.

Legends. Absolute legends. I wish someone would create an animated series based off both the pirate, and marine tales.

This was only the first episode, yet they almost died faster than a speeding bullet. They really are the most luckiest D&D players I have ever seen.

I love this cast already. Can't wait to see how long it takes until Kai gets scurvy.

Absorbed the shocks of early combat very well. Seemingly personal stakes in being a Marine. This recruit is likely to be a reliable talent going forward. Yokan: Long-arm. Imposing. Physically powerful, capable of punching a man's head clean off his shoulders. Relishes combat, and holds the Marines as an institution in very high regard, received extensive training in preparation for duty. This recruit will go far up the ranks given enough time. Damian: Inventive. Speedy. Ruthless. Service record is [nearly an entire page of blacked out text with only instances of the words "lollipop" and "sugar" left alone] Officers stand-by and handle this recruit with caution. Taiga: Illiterate. Can't swim. No rizz. At least not dead weight in combat(Very nearly was due to the Kai- related friendly fire incident), cool weapon, too. This recruit is at least safe from demotion to Chore Boy. Zeal: Pending ongoing investigation, seemingly betrayed his fellow crewmates leading to the deaths of multiple recruits and the kidnapping of Lt. Pluto. Who let this guy into the Marines? Fips: A literal child. Received a nearly fatal wound in the line of- Okay, who let this guy into the Marines?!

i'm going to be honest once this ends i'm expecting a One piece D&D: Revolutionary Army, taking place 10 years after the events of one piece D&D: marines.

If Kai ever gets an upgrade to his harpoon gun I wanted to also have tekking engraved on it just for a running gag

2spooky went from a quite and composed sniper to a menace and I love that for them

I love how at the beginning Rustage can go from having the deepest voice to the highest of high pitched laughing. Also, love TekKai.

Oh my god Kai fits Tekking soooooooooooo good. Damian looks super cool and classy with the black coat. I can see Bradley being a chad character like Ragnar too. Yokan seems to be a badass

The way they flavored Artificer is so good, and Damien’s demeanor is wildly different to Duro’s and I’m all for it. Already like this cast

I was always surprised that no one was a different race in pirates so I’m glad to see they’re all something different, in Damian’s case he’s a cyborg so that counts I’d say

Yes! It's up. Everyone get excited, because this is gonna get good. Yokan is funny with her demeanor and I would love to see her find the underbelly of the Marines. Bradley is so over the top and excitable. Damian is dope and mysterious, and gives me some Akainu vibes. Kai is just awesome all around and he's my favorite for his simple but kind soul.

Honestly... I'm gonna say it right here. This is my favorite Rustage D&D series so far, and there's only one episode. I am so excited for the next episode and onwards, this shit is fire.

Bradley and Kai, There designs for there faces are so similar. They both have the headband. Different hairstyle but there posture is the same and they both are smiling. They could totally be brothers. If they weren’t the different race, then they could have been brothers

I want Taiga to become a high ranking marine by taking credit for the new crew’s shenanigans, kinda like buggy

Now that Tekking is canon, he’d better be a villain in a movie

I hace to say , out of the 3 D&D series , this is my favorite first episode

On this episode of op dnd, Marines: Noble does his best Tyrell Badd impression Kai penetrates a virgin Briggs goes to Jamaica And spooky goes down a path that will result in him getting on by dudes and questioning his sexuality. (Not that I'd know anything about that)

the crab better get a devil fruit by the end of this

Im already in love with the squad maybe I just love the guys playing them but the characters always feel down to earth and relatable in some aspects

I hope the etching on the harpoon gun becomes its name. "OK, I'm gonna fire Tekking at that Pirate."

I don't know why but i have a feeling we'll see adult doxxie at some point. And when we do, I hope she's this massive giant of a woman because her mom was tall as hell and her dad is literally blood blue, she has to be an Amazonian woman.

Just a thought of mine, with the way Kai acts and behaves whenever fruit is mentioned as well as his sorta "war flashbacks" when they're mentioned makes me think he's a devil fruit user so I'm really excited to see if this is true.

I'm so happy this is here. It's gonna be so weird tho with Tekking not rolling for a power before every fight😂

This episode was amazing! You could really see the growth of everyone

We are back again! Same Universe, Same Players, but Different Characters. I'm looking forward to this series, since we are used to Pirates being the main characters in the One Piece Universe, it's nice for the Marines to get the spotlight. I also like the diversity of the team because previously most of them were human, this time we have different races like a Fish man, a member of the long-arm tribe and a cyborg like Franky. Kai is a ranger, similar to Verona especially when it came to shooting his teammates. He looks like a Red haired Mako and has a harpoon gun that was previously owned by Tekking. His sense of justice is that of Moral Justice. Bradley is a Fish Man and a rogue like how William is, hopefully he uses his rogue skills better than William and that he becomes a Master of Fish Man Karate like Jimbei. His sense of justice seems neutral. Yokan is a female member of the long-arm tribe and she's a monk. I was surprised that Spooky is playing a female character, but this works for him, also using a member of the long-arm tribe like Apoo and IDEO. Her sense of justice is that of Absolute justice, I do worry that she might become like Akainu. Damien is an artificer who is a Cyborg like Franky and looks like Smoker. He's powered by Sugar similar to how Franky is powered by Cola. His sense of justice is similar to Yokan like that of Absolute justice. This is going to be an interesting team, I wonder who is going to be the leader and how they are going to rise through the ranks of the Marines. I also wonder who is going to get any Devil Fruits and what would they be? I think that being called Angels Fortune would be the best name to call this group of Marines, being the Parallel to the Devil's Luck Pirates.

LETS GO BOYYS ONTO A NEW ADVENTURE!

I really like Kai’s character. He’s such a good contrast to the others and is the closest to a “human” in terms of morality, a true example of just a kind dude that doesn’t quite fit in with all the hardcore killing machines in his squad

Loved this whole opening episode. From the clean intro, to the clear joy everybody was having playing these new characters and getting back into the world.

Yokan is fucking terrifying, punching dudes heads off and casually snatching axes mid attack

I already know I’m gonna love these 4 characters

1. I knew of none of these guys before the One Piece DND series. 2. I'm very surprised that Briggs (it's instinct to call him Ragnar now, this is hard), went straight from a Barbarian to a Rogue. 3. I did not realize Briggs and Noble could change their whole character type just like that, like voice and the way they act and all

I’m so glad you kept in the intro fail, I was dying watching that live! Super excited to see this new group and get to know them. I assume Kai’s backstory has something tragic to do with devil fruits and that’s why Tekking mentioned the hatred of fruits but could just be a gimmick

I love how the entire group consists of 3 himbos and the female version of a himbo

I love how it begins with the players laughing. Kind of sets up the rest of the mood for the series.

I’m just saying duros vs Damian would either be a crazy wholesome fight or a crazy brutal fight no in between

Absolutely amazing start to a new campaign. Love the new characters, and love the immediate synergy between them. Keep it up, guys

Just wanted to mention it but there is a lot of stuff around food in this episode like the characters yokan being proficient in cooking Daimin carrying around loipops kai hating fruits and loving vegetables and also having pet crab while being a fisherman and Bradley liking to eat meat raw and also being a fish himself

Now that's one heck of an intro for a Dnd campaign. Can't wait for the next stream.

In this episode, when Rustage is comparing the encounter to the lost mines of Pvandover, it’s funny, because my players did something so similar to this, my players made a sonic noise a big, loud noise that drew everyone’s attention. Bugbear, came rushing outside, and they just dealt with him.

Glad I can watch this! I joined in a little later so playing catch up was fun. Hope Belle the crab gets a devil fruit, it’d be fun. Also, Spoiler: The chat towards the end really wanted someone to take Zeal’s axegun after Yokan threw it out of zeal’s hand and everyone was pretty sad when it was implied no one actually took it. Then Bradley just comes out like a hero and asks a question with the axegun in hand with the chat cheering in unison.

I was so in love with the OG One Piece DND, but honestly I think this one will be the favorite in my heart over the long term. God Bless you Rustage, the work you put into these series is incredible. I wish I had a group to play some Dungeons myself since it's been so long, but this campaign is like a dream come true. You Glorious Beast;)
