Unfortunately if it's gonna fit in with the lore of the universe, they'll have to leave one of the most iconic parts of One Piece out, the Devil Fruits. We wouldn't be able to play as a Devil Fruit user since there's only one of each, it would be crazy if only ONE player in the whole MMO got a power that no one else was allowed to have.

The gameplay will be boring... so probably its not going to be an good game at all.

The only good thing about this game is gonna be this music. But hopefully hopefully the delay will have helped a bit. Because I want this game to be good it has such high production value. The story behind it is written by the author of one piece himself. This game has it’s heart in the right place and you can see that. But now it’s up to the developers to make the game fun. And I hope the do that because in it’s current state it certainly isn’t much.

My only complaint is the island they chose to use. One piece is known for its crazy and outlandish islands but this doesn't feel like that but everything else looks pretty good though.

People are already shitting on it for good reason. Because a bland open world RPG, limited to one island with stealth mechanics and a dull combat system isn't exactly what people think of when they think of a One Piece game...

Making it Open World + Assassins Creed blk flag/Odyssey = too expensive but most importantly hard and isn’t feasible all I ever dreamed of was playing the anime as a game Start the first game with coby meeting luffy. End it somewhere satisfying like maybe Crocodile? Part two end it somewhere good like passed learning gear 2nd? And so on.. Just play the story scene for scene with all the things that make the show great. That should make the game relatively short and sweet. Just enjoyable recreated coherently important cutscenes + Play all the ‘important fights’ with all the nakamas when the story dictates + Be only Luffy as The ship is fully explorable and acts as a HUB to the next part of the story but before that you can walk around do more interactive things each time a added crew mates joins that is coherent with the story like -fishing with usopp -ask sanji for food -train or sleep with zoro -ask nami where we’re headed to next etc all with the humor of the show And then jump on Going Merrys head to set sail again! + A lot of small things that add detail to the story like -explorable limited parts of islands best suited to play during the story -Destructible environments during fights -Helping the ship enter the Grandline -slicing up all the agents as zoro before meeting Vivi -transporting nami to see choppers with sanji as support (imagine the dramatic climb and music up the mountain just like Solid Snake crawling thru the microwaving tunnel..) -Repairing Going Merry as usopp at first -Cooking contest filler episodes as sanji -mech madness with Franky -morale booster as singing brook -press square till you break the button as zoro resisting all the damage by Kuma And it’s all broken down to diff parts so it’s more affordable..making it open world filled with Odas lore is too much. Playing scene for scene absorbed and driven by the story is better imo

I for one enjoyed it. Especially the dlc where you can play as Zoro, Sabo and Law

yeah it's all good but just not worth 60 dollars. I bought the deluxe edition with all dlcs for 15 dollars and I'm pretty much happy with it
