You should also watch the OVA's, they're so funny. :D And believe it or not, Boros was created as a villain for another series from ONE when he was 9 haha. But Boros ended up being too strong for the main protagonist to defeat, so he didn't finish the series.

Nick! Just to let you know, the second season has a decent downgrade in animation due to a change of studio, but the story is just as good and funny, it's definitely worth it to watch it Edit: wasn't because of a studio change but a rushed production and bad preparation and schedule

I think it’s both the studio change and scheduling, but mostly the latter. One of the reasons season 1 was so good was because of director, who was responsible for gathering such a powerhouse staff to animate it. Even though he wanted to, he didn’t get to be the director for season 2, so the staff was also different.

In anime the characters often interchange names before a battle because there was a tradition in the samurai era in japan where samurai warriors were ascended if they brought back the head of someone important to his boss, so before a fight they identified themselves to know whose head they would brought back.
