I dunno, saitama is sometimes clumsy. There was a 50% chance saitama would've slipped and hit him there lmao.

It doesn't need to connect that sheer kinetic force of the punch just blew away a fucking mountain. If you look closely where the wind of the punch originates and where they are both standing right after dust settles you can notice that saitama went in front of the kinetic force of his own punch in order to stop genos from getting obliterated or launch to space...

@@thwomp1542 It is not blatantly stated, as it did not directly reference a crab monster or Saitama. Given everything else (the timeline and the chins), however, the simplest explanation is that's what happened. For it to not be the case, there would have to have been a nearly identical incident with another monster, and either the same kid, or a different kid with the same chin situation, at about the same time. It's as good as canon.

The funniest part being that anyone of any consequence was in the basement anyway, many of which were already trashed by Carnage Kabuto. It's entirely possible that Genos didn't actually kill anyone at all or, really, actually achieve anything during the whole "confrontation".

Genos wouldn't even stand a chance against the Beast King alone, even without Carnage Kabuto. That's why Hero Associations screening was the worst, because they could've demand for more elabirations together with zombieman to ensure there are no more traces of House of Evolution.

And that foreshadows a running gag where someone else gets credit for all of Saitama's monster kills....
