1999 ad break featuring two of the worst segments that Disney's One Saturday Morning had to offer: "You Rock" (which ran the same 5 or 6 songs over and over) and "Manny the Uncanny." What happened here, Paul Rugg and Peter Hastings? You guys are better than this.

I love how one saturday morning stood out from other blocks at the time by not only introducing creator driven cartoons to the mouse house, but they also have interstitials that fit the theme of one saturday morning They even have sketches which other blocks didnt have at this time

It was all about keeping the traditional educational bumpers that ABC was known for but giving it a modern edge. We truly didn't know how great we had it.

7:42 _Cue a Cleveland-area kid peeing his pajamas in fear over that graphic._ Seriously, on a *Saturday morning during a children's block,* that title card probably didn't need to be shown. Scaring the kids, NewsChannel 5's graphic department.

@@aaronsarchive82 Oh, there was a *tone,* too? I was more scared by the EBS/EAS tests growing up. At least my local ABC station had the sense to put theme music under their special report/ weather advisory title cards back then.
