They just didn't watch it enough. First it's novel, then it's boring, then it's magnificent. we all know it felt boring before we realized it was amazing. Truly a masterpiece
That's cuz episodes were aired out of order. "To Sirloin, With Love" was supposed to be the finale but the show got axed early to make room for the Cleveland Show after the Super Bowl
King of the Hill always seemed more down to earth than some of it's contemporaries of its time, like Family Guy and whatnot, but this is a nice reminder of how just plain old outrageous it can be, I tell ya hwut.
What's really brilliant about the show is just how much sense the random hijinks actually make in the context of the episode. Reeled together like this they look completely outrageous and random, but seeing what leads to each of these scenarios is part of the comedic genius of the showrunners.
I started watching King of the HIll for the first time late 2019 and discovered this video when I was around season 5. I've been steadily watching this every 4 of 5 episodes since then, stopping until I reached the 1 second part of the episode I last watched. Today, I was finally able to watch the whole thing. I'm shedding a tear, I tell you hwat.
@@STH151NicoleFan he's Dale Gribble, Dale Gribble, you never really know what he's gonna fo next, he's Dale Gribble, Dale Gribble... . Although Boomhower is the Quagmire of this show.
I really REALLY appreciate that the clips are genuinely 1 second long. Tons of these compilations usually make them longer, but honestly I really like the chaotic feel of the single seconds without context.
I miss this show. Well written comedy and that's what I love about Mike Judge. I also love how unique and well written Office Space and Idiocracy were. Mike writes good humour and he is also good with drama and good storytelling. You just don't see that in a lot of animated shows. Most just have toilet humor and generic comedy
@@Sifeus I know. I have no hatred for The Cleveland Show but it's pretty annoying how Fox rushed out one of their long running animated shows just to get their latest and short lived show on the air. Even with four more episodes left under its belt. But then again, Fox forced the writers to stop the character development in KOTH so this isn't as surprising to me.
Okay, you talked me into it. I'm going to have to sit down and actually watch every single episode of this show now. .....Just finishing up Futurama first.
