Love the outdoor solar street lamp for your property!!! Would love a motion sensor one here in my Tulsa little yard but a big model would not make neighbors happy😂 👵🏼 not a homesteader here but would have loved the option when younger!!! Motion sensor would probably drive. You all nuts with all the critter activity around you ….so wise to be able to extend your days there!! Enjoying your building projects too !!! Making a home for sure❤❤
Hi Mel and Gary. The frame work with door and window openings look fantastic. Really changes the look at the front of the cabin. Good work guys. Gary have fun fishing with the boys this weekend!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
G’day Mel and Gary, just a thought while you do that hammering to move headers into place: I have an old stove iron, one that lived on the top of the wood fired stove to heat it up to iron clothes, I use it as my “dolly” to put behind the impact zone to stabilize the wood as well as provide a like dead low when you hammer. It stabilizes the workpiece. As you noticed tapping those in piece at a time stops the annoying binding, just as I’m typing this I note that you are doing it. It’s coming along nicely and will be a nice light room with those windows. Stay safe guys.
Good afternoon you guys I'm proud of you guys looks like the mud house is getting a lot better now you guys keep up the good work may God bless you guys and have a great day❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love all of you guys and there is nothing anyone of you can do about it . I have been with you guys for a long time and there’s no nothing you can do about it either . I love Simple life Reclaimed and CRC and you guys can’t do anything about it about me loving all of you guys . ❤
I am so impressed with how much you have accomplished in the building of your new homestead. You guys are an inspiration for others to take that same step of faith. I know your inspiration for the need of a mudroom inspired this addition, with so many windows 🤔 sun/mud room? I love lots of windows too. 😅 Great job guys! Can't wait to see the finished product 😄
Hey guys you may already know this but if you don’t want to hammer after using the nail gun you can increase the pressure, if that’s possible with what you have. Thanks concerned viewer.😊
Hi 👋 I sincerely hope Mel gets a extra lady's day out... Considering the Toxic Flatulence caused by Spicy Pickled Eggs... Ha Ha... Luv y'all... Great Build...Great Kids... 😅 Go Team Go...
Those who have forgotten that they have a volume button, please remember, positivity gets you places in this short interlude called life. Negativity just sucks.
A gable roof will look awesome on your porch with that cabin look wagon wheel kinda deal. I must have missed when you discussed the type of roof you were planning for the sunroom. I miss a lot, so I try to avoid asking questions assuming it's probably been covered at some time...Lol.
Noo Waay Gary overdoing it. I would have never guessed that 😂😅😂. I was assuming roof like the deck. Gable out front will be awesome and give it character. A pain to do the Valleys but you'll figure it out.
Great work on you house thank you for sharing another great video 📹 I'm just wondering will those lights work in -50 to-60 c ? I tried to find the information maybe I mist it . From Marie in Northern British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
Sorry you feel that way. Music is a big part of creative expression, and not everyone will connect with us every time - and that's okay 🤗 We will continue to be US and express ourselves as we feel. (Listen to the lyrics, might catch what we were throwin😎) God Bless You
Don't forget do oil your air nailer before using also you may need just a little more air pressure so you don't have to go back and beat it with a hammer doing a good job keep it up you'll be there before you know it
Great job, you guys! It’s already clear to see that the mud room is going to be a beautiful and sturdy room, with all those windows. I reacted to when Gary mentioned the roof angle though. Are you really considering having a different roof angle (4:12) on the mud room than on the main cabin (5:12)? If you have the same angle on both (5:12) not only will it look visually more harmonious but maybe even more important: the math will fall out so much easier. If you match the roof angles the roof valleys, overhangs etc. will all turn out to exactly 45 degrees, which will make it easier. Just a thought. Good job and good luck!
Everything looks great. Just a thought, have you made adequate access for moving furniture in and out in the years ahead? (I ask this from experience 🤓.). The front of the house has been totally transformed by this latest addition. Congrats ❤
lol;;;;I notice a problem;;;;ya need more windows;;;;;lol;;;;gee I got tire ust watchin;;;;lookin good;;;;yall put in a good days work;;;bet Gary gonna need a piller to lay his swingin arm on tonite;;;;thumbs up and keep on bangin;;;
I really enjoy watching ya'll. And really enjoy the verbal interaction. Do not like the music while building. Would rather the sound of tools, hammers, and your voices.
Been with you guys since day one and I wish you Gods speed. However I feel inclined to give my opinion towards the choice of ( so called ) music during this part of the build was nerve racking to say the least. Hope not to offend as many today are so sensitive over the views of others.
It's all good. We don't offend easily. Music is subjective. Not everyone likes the same things. Some people live opera, some can't stand it. See what I mean. We make our music selections based off of what we like, whether it be a beat, or story behind the lyrics, or just a vibe. Sorry you don't like this selection but if I like something similar to this In the future, I will use it, because I like it.
