One thing about pinhead that I learned over time is that he is literally the perfect adaptation of a character in dbd and possibly in gaming history. Many dislike playing against him but a small amount enjoy playing against him. Pain or Pleasure. Pinheads entire thing is Pain or Pleasure, so a pinhead game may seem like a nightmare to most, but amazing to a select few.
one thing i like about knight is his connection with vittorio. quite unique, how half his backstory is intertwined with vittorio's, and it really makes encountering one another in lobbies feel more 'personal' in a way. something i dislike about him are the cosmetics. almost all of them are reskins and his iridescent skin doesn't look too good if I'm to be honest. i do very much so like his rift skins, because they are clean, have a nice pattern and please my history nerd side as they are fairly accurate. however, until he gets more skins i don't really have that high of an opinion about them
Knight definitely needs more skins, his potential for them is really high. I also agree on his lore and the interweaving with Vittorio's. I really enjoyed working my way through both of those for my lore video on them! Some of the better lore in the game right now IMO.
As a Knight main, I agree with both of your points so much! I love Knight’s lore and it really makes getting a Vittorio in your match feel so much more personal than, say, when I play Slinget and get a Zarina. And yes, he needs more skins so badly! I also don’t really like his legendary and all his other ones are pretty similar. Hopefully he gets a lot more, bc he has the potential for some really cool ones.
I love Mikaela's lore and I love the concept of the boons. I'm interested to see the nerf to COH, a bit worried that it'll be too harsh given the healing general nerf.
This is so tiny and random, but I LOVE the little note that plays when Plague drinks and goes to Corrupt. The tone/sound that plays just sounds lovely to me. Great video!!
As a Sadako main I gotta say there are anti-looping techniques if you use the TV teleports correctly. But it really is RNG on where TVs spawn in relation to the loops.
As a fellow Plague main, I struggled to say everything too! But I agree even more with the fact that on some maps, her power really should hit and doesn't - its so damn frustrating!
@@theARoberts Yeah, people say she should’ve been a cyborg-themed killer, but I feel like that wouldn’t have made sense. It would’ve clashed with the “modern” tech look she’s supposed to represent and her corrupt business woman personality. Why would someone who only values her life and image risk mutilating herself with technology?
@@theARoberts I’m glad you agree. Honestly, that outfit from her new cosmetic skin would’ve worked better with her mask. Speaking of her mask, I would’ve given the exposed half a rose-gold skull shape to tie in more with her skull theme, besides her drones of course.
@@theARoberts Personally, I think the oddest criticism is that she’s sexualised. When The Trickster is literally a handsome K-pop idol who is shirtless.
Personally I think the huntress one balances out because there are also shots that should hit, but don’t. I’m also bad at huntress so that also might be a factor💀 Edit: fun fact about clowns mori for different survivors, the reason clown has a different mori for males is because of ash and his mechanical hand
That's true, good point. And that is a fun fact about Clown's mori. I think I remember reading that before but had totally forgotten. Thanks for reminding me!
Another thing about legion that is good is the variety in cosmetics, legions only bad cosmetics are the common masks, also it’s the only killer with 2 prestige cosmetics
I absolutely agree with you on Oni. I wish he had more, better cosmetics because there is so much potential. His most recent cosmetic is probably the best one apart from default, but default is still better.
Yeah, I’ve been wanting to get more cosmetics for him as I’ve been playing him lately, but none of them really interest me apart from his default. I think for me they all just seem kind of similar, somehow. Maybe the colors? Idk, I like brighter cosmetics and I think his default red is maybe his brightest (and it’s not that bright).
I had to play spirit without headphones due to my dog chewing them up- and it wasn't that bad. Her playstyle comes down to guessing and game sense w/o headphones. still pretty fun. :)
I love Knight's lore and mori (I find it funny you're basically getting jumped) but I dislike playing as and against him. A lot of people who play as him use the ability to camp hooks and when you go against him 3 times in a row and they do that, it gets tiring really fast. Also, I love Dredge's design overall but I'm basically blind during Nightfall, but that's more of a console issue. Also, I agree, Nurse is so fun because she bends the rules so getting chased by her is really fun, my more rememberable chases was with nurses. But she's usually miserable to play against in indoor maps.
Knight's mori is great too. But I'm with you on playing as/against him. The camping hooks and gens gets annoying, and I can appreciate that getting old fast especially if you've gone against him multiple times in a row. Curious, what about being on console makes Nightfall worse? I hadn't heard that and play on PC myself. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about Nurse, most people tell me how much they hate that fact about her. I do get the indoor map thing though.
As an Artist main she was never clunky feeling to me. I will say it did take quite a bit of time to get used to her but once you do that she's amazing to play. I love your comment about beauty and horror. She's just too dang beautiful 😍
I've heard that she's really great fun once you've gotten used to her (you've probably been one of the ones to tell me that too). I'm glad you appreciated that comment. To me it sums her up well. That and tragedy, probably one of the most tragic characters in the game.
@@theARoberts god yes, her and Huntress. Their lore makes me appreciate both of them but to a point I can relate to everything she's been through, at least with how she was feeling not the attempted unaliving herself. She really is an incredible killer to play though. So fun when you can snipe and down someone from across the map 😂
Honestly, your problem with Blight is the exact reason I like him I love playing blight on a close quarters map like midwich or lerys Having walls to bounce off of everywhere is just perfect for him, and I am really freakin good at getting angles on those maps On the opposite side, I hate him on outdoor maps, as it always seems like I dont have enough walls around, and half of my rushes dont get to continue enough to hit the thing to bounce
I can definitely respect that. For me, I'm afraid of getting stuck like a pinball bouncing off of things too fast, but I'm also terrible with Blight so I could definitely see how with some learning indoor maps could become better than outdoor.
Good video man. Love Pyramid Head's sound design and the satisfaction of hitting survivors with a predicted Punishment of the Damned trail through walls and in loops. But smth I really dislike is his add-ons. I only ever use the wax doll, black strap and burning man painting, the rest are basically useless
Thanks man! Agreed, his sound design is great and it is truly satisfying when you get them with his ranged attack. I should have mentioned his add-ons, they are pretty useless, aren't they?
I know this would be hell for the designers and programmers to do but: For Nemesis' add ons, i think it would be cool if it changed what spawned (with respective debuffs of course) like instead of two Zombies you can spawn a licker, or two dogs, or even the Hunters. of course that would mean you could only have one of these add ons and not two (so no licker and hunter combo etc.) depending on the threat of the creatures is how many spawn with said add-ons i.e. One licker, One hunter, two dogs, two crimson heads, etc. I think that wouldve been really fun to always keep you on your toes as a survivor.
I agree it would be difficult to add this and balance it for the Devs, but I really love the idea. I think keeping Survivors guessing would be huge. Imagine a Licker that you had to crouch walk past to keep it from hearing you, slowing Survivors down within that zone
For The Clown, they actually added a feature for when a survivor gets hit by his tonic, there is a cross hair in the middle of the screen for people to look at.
I had heard that, then I heard that some people had it changed to a dot which was far less useful, and when I played clown the other day it wasn't there at all (is it an accessibility setting that needs to be turned on?)
Trickster main here. What I like about Trickster are his voicelines and his cosmetics, aside from the fact he has two types of weapons. Now what I don't like about him, is that it takes forever to switch between blades and his bat. Like when you have a survivor in front of him, it takes forever to switch back to his bat. I really wanna be a better killer main, but people are so toxic when I try to play as Trickster. And when asking for advice, people are mocking me and are assholes too. I wanna become confident, but I just can't :(. As for the other killers... (from survivor's perspective) Trapper: I like him being an easier killer on the game. I did enjoy him in the tutorial. I just hate his traps XD. Like I literally forget I have them and I don't place them properly aswell. Wraith: His ability to cloak/uncloak is amazing, not so much from a survivor's perspective haha. The dislike? His mains. Hillbilly: His Lightborn perk is a big thumbs up for me. Like it saves me from toxic suvivors with their damn flashlights (I suck myself with these things). The dislike? I can't really think of something other than his mains. The toxic ones wanna down everyone all at once. Nurse: Her blinks. The way she can teleport quite fast is amazing and the sounds she makes afterwards, love that. The dislike lies in the teleport aswell. She appears to be so easy, yet she is so difficult to master. Myers: Him being able to become undetectable. The way he can be so stealthy, it scares the shit out of you. The downfall lies in his mains, who love to use Tombstone Myers or Scratch Mirror Myers. To me, that feels very unfair yet I can understand why people love those builts. Myers is a character I despise playing against. Hag: Nothing I like really, she isn't a character that stands out to me. Also, those traps of her have an insane range when you try to walk past them or when you try to unhook a survivor. Doctor: His appearance and his distorted laugh. It's so interesting how they made him look and I really want to know how they came up with his design, like I can look at it for hours. Dislike: Facing him, especially when you face sweats/trolls who are obsessed with static blast or shock therapy. Basically not allowing you to finish at least one gen. Huntress: Her tall appearance. Like dayum! Dislike? The lullaby when using the Were Elk skin, like that's a scary one. The male humming scares the shit outta me. Aside from that, those damn hatchets. Bubba: Character designs. What's disturbing is that he uses the faces of his victims to wear, now that's creepy. The dislikes lie in both his mains and his damn chainsaw, as it makes him undefeatable. I have yet to face a nice Bubba, because everyone is an asshole to me. Freddy: I don't really like him, so there isn't anything I like. The dislike lies in the fact that you can't focus on the gens while in dream state. I hate the fact that you have to run across from the f'ing map to even wake up, I hate that. Pig: No likes at all. The dislikes lie in the fact that she becomes undetectable and you don't see or hear her coming, while you also have to deal with these damn reversed bear traps. Running all over the map to find the key is horrendous. Clown: His lore is so interesting to be honest. I hate facing him, because all Clown mains are assholes to me :(. I do have Coulrophobia, but I don't suffer from that in this game. I hate those bottles he throws, while constantly kicking your heels. Like you have nowhere to run to. Spirit: Her design. The way she switches between the facial expressions is beyond me, alongside the distorted voice. I don't like her teleportation, because it's unpredictable where she goes to next. Legion: The chase music. Like it's such a vibe. I hate the fact that Legion is a fast character and it's stressful hearing the breathing in your neck. Plague: Her design. It's well done and the fact that she speaks a Babylon language is amazing. I just don't like the mains too much, sorry man. Because the ones I face constantly vomit at you when you're already hooked. Ghostface: His mori is the absolute best. It's hilarious, especially how he takes a selfie when he just stabbed you three times. I don't like how stealthy he is. When not paying attention, he pops up outta nowhere and it's even worse when he can down you in one hit. Demo: Him being able to teleport through the portals he digs, I love that feature. What I don't like is also exactly that. He can teleport to anything and especially the toxic mains can be a pain in the ass. I'm a Stranger Things hater tbh. Oni: Him standing tall like a warrior. He's a tough built character, yet it makes him stand out too. I like his growls when his hair shows a red glow alongside his red eyes. His dislike lies in him being able to track you down by these blood orbs, so what you like is my exact dislike. Also, the ''My Little Oni'' mode was hilarious. Deathslinger: There's something about his appearance that I feel drawn to, but he also has a fantastic mori. The dislike? He is hard to master, imo he is the character who needs a lot of practice to being able to master his aim. A friend of mine once tried him out in a custom game and he hated the aim, but also how long it takes to recharge. Pyramid Head: His sound design is fantastic. Also he has a perk I like to use in custom game, Trail Of Torment. That with Tinkerer is perfect to scare the shit out of my friends. The dislike lies in his mori, it's so fucking boring. I'll add a second dislike in here, with that being the use of his massive blade. Once used properly, his attacks are so ranged and can go through any object. It's crazy. Blight: Oh he is one of my least favorites, so there isn't much to like other than his lore. I hate how fast he becomes when bouncing back and forth. Nothing against that ofcourse, since it's his power. It's just I hate how certain Blight mains use it to their own disadvantage. Twins: The design of Siamese twins is amazing, I love that. I just don't like how boring they are actually. Like I expected more from these characters and I lowkey would've loved to see how the original idea for them would've worked out (they originally wanted to make Charlotte and Victor a mother and her unborn child, how crazy that would've been). Nemesis: I don't have anything I like about him really. The dislike lies in these zombies, I hate zombies for a reason XD, of his and how fast he can become when chasing you. Pinhead: Them voicelines ;) . When me and my friends find out we go against a Pinhead, we already memorize the line ''The box, you opened it. I came'' as we are just getting started. I hate those damn chains, like you can't do anything when these chains are active. You can only be in the dying state or in a locker if you don't wanna be affected by them, or even when you're hooked. Artist: Her design is so cool, aside from what she went through. Her voice making these crow like sounds is so creepy. The dislike lies in either her facecamp mains are the absolute hell or the crows she uses to detect someone. It's hard to find a nice Artist. Onryo: I just don't like her. Everything about her creeps me out. Dredge: His design is so interesting. You see so much, yet he looks like a complete mystery too. I just don't like Nightfall and the locker teleports. Wesker: His appearance and his voicelines, they're so good and I love how Wesker looks like a maffia boss ready to strut the scene. Also, that bug from him recently made me laugh so hard to the point I was crying. I don't like his arm so much, because he becomes so powerful (at least to me). Knight: His mori is fantastic, but it's sad how he doesn't do much in it. I don't like his guards, which me and my friends refer to as ''his gay followers'' (nothing homophobic here, I love gay people). They are so annoying and it takes forever to get them off your back, even before Knight shows up. Skull Merchant: Her design is so cool, half human and half humanoid. The dislike is simple, her mains. I absolutely agree on everyone who hates Skull Merchant, because she is an ass to play against. And the way the drones can be spawned is horrendous too, making it unable to even do something properly in a match. Yeah, I'm not the best at explaining my pros and cons. But that's mainly due to the fact I only main one killer and I haven't played as the others.
Pyramid Head is working his way up my list as well. I've been terrible with him, but chat has been requesting him a lot and I've been improving. He's a lot of fun when you figure him out.
One very disapointing thing about wesker is that maps are the difference between having a very easy round, to having the worst experience ever. Maps that are indoor, or maps that have way too much surroundings are annoying because either your tentacle dash can hit 2 atoms of a chair and completely stop you, or there is a door right after a corner. Its also annoying that weskers tentacle takes 50 years to switch to knife. I know its supposed to be a punishment, but whats the point of vaulting a pallet if you have to wait till the end of time just to knife the survivor.
As a Trapper/Knight main, I will weigh in on my boys... Trapper: The sound of a trap snapping shut and a survivor screaming is THE most satisfying thing in the game as far as I'm concerned. It's what made me main him in the first place and keeps me coming back. That said, when survivors *don't* step in your traps, yeah, that can get pretty miserable. Knight: 100% with you on the lore, plus I love the way his guards' personalities are conveyed in their character and sound designs (especially Alejandro, the absolute freak). I dislike the way most people play him, though. I find a lot of fun in using the guards to mess with survivors' positioning, making predictions about where they'll be so that I can drop a guard there and move to flank them when they run. Seeing people use them just to kick gens and camp hooks is frustrating and quite frankly disappointing. RE: pineapple on pizza... Pineapple may belong on *your* pizza, and if it does then I'm glad you enjoy it, but it sure as hell does not belong on mine.
Great points about both Trapper and the Knight. I agree with those too. RE: pineapple on pizza, I can totally respect that you dislike it as well (to be honest, it's not my favorite either, but I occasionally do enjoy a slice of it)
@@theARoberts To weigh in on another killer... one thing I love about Plague is her lore. I think that out of all the killers, she has the most believable and *human* motivation for sacrificing survivors to the Entity. Not only is she religiously devoted to the Entity, believing that it answered her prayers and saved her people, she also comes from a time and culture where human sacrifice was considered not only acceptable, but *righteous.* It makes absolute sense that the Entity could manipulate her faith, and that she would not question the idea of sacrificing people to it. I also love her visual design and animations; the way she struts through the trials as if the Realm is her personal runway conveys her status and charisma even if you've not read a word of her backstory. The one thing I don't like about her is that when I play survivor, going against her tends to absolutely screw over my builds, as I often run healing perks.
As a fellow Knight main, you play him correctly! Heh. I also love using him that way, it’s so much more fun than a boring 3-Gen and I hate that so many play him that way and make people hate facing him. I love to use his guards more as a killer buddy, to herd players or to go do something else while I chase a survivor.
@@NicxCoay I know, right? The only thing that might rival the sound of someone stepping in a trap for *pure DbD satisfaction* is managing to get a perfect Knight double-tap.
@@snarkbotanya6557 So true! Knight's sound design is some of my favorite in the game. Clanking around in his armor with his big, stomping footsteps and the sound of his sword swing and the impact when it hits is just really satisfying. It has a similar feel to Nemesis of just making you feel powerful.
I feel you about why you dislike playing Clown. I'm a Plague main myself, and it really bothers me honestly, knowing that my character makes people physically ill because of the noises she makes. I love her as a killer all except for that.
First, always great to meet a fellow Plague main. Second, I'm glad I'm not alone in that feeling regarding Clown, and I get what you mean about Plague too.
I have the same issue too with Wraith. I think I have uncloaked and when I go to hit a survivor it won’t do anything. Then, I realize, ohhh it didn’t uncloak like I thought it did. Whoops.
@@theARoberts No it’s not 😂 I’m sure there are more people who experience this too. I have been liking playing as him lately and I have been playing Plague too and she is fun too.
Great video and I loved to hear your thoughts on every killer!! Some constructive criticism from a viewer perspective is to add some background footage of whatever it is you’re talking about. I feel like the video would be more engaging and give some people a reference point if they don’t know what you’re talking about exactly. Still overall a fantastic video and keep up the hard work
Thank you, I'm glad to know you enjoyed it! And thank you for your feedback, you're spot on. I really appreciate it. After making this I felt the same way so when I did the Survivor version I added some B-roll. If you get a chance to watch that one I'd love to know your thoughts on the difference it made
Trapper: I love Evan. He is my favorite character in the game. He is perfect. I love him. He has the ideal cuddle body. Look at his body for a second. Pretty huggable if you ignore the metal. His breathing is so calming. I would absolutely run into his traps so he can pull me to the basement and (redacted). I find it a bit sad that his lore is relatively weak. I want more lore. Also, more grass for him! Wraith: He's my good boy. He deserves all the love. I really like the snarling/purring that he does while cloaked. I also sometimes don't hold the button long enough to uncloak. Hillbilly: My other good boy. I will suffocate him with love and affection. He deserves the world. I like his lore. Hillbilly did nothing wrong. He is perfect the way he is. I don't like playing as him, though. Nurse: I like the mori. It's so sensual. I don't like the rest of her, though. I don't like blinking with her. Shape: His breathing is top-notch ASMR. I like Scratched Mirror Myers. His mori is cool too. I also have some good memories of Bartender Myers on the Dead Dawg Saloon. I don't like his abilities that much, though. Hag: I like her little snarling sounds. Her sound design is great. The lore is meh. Doctor: I love him. He can do (redacted). I don't love Impossible Skill Check Doctor when I am a survivor. Huntress: The lullaby is awesome; I sometimes listen to the 10h version on YT to fall asleep. But also her looks; I mean, I love beefy women, and Anna is perfect. I struggle playing with her, though. Cannibal: I don't mind Face-Camping Bubba, but what I hate about it are my teammates who lose all their brain cells and try to rescue me. Nightmare: I like the Dream World and the Lullaby he has. Other than that, I don't like Long Finger Freddy, that hits me from across the map. Pig: The Pig's stun noise and the base pig mask. I am not a fan of the other masks. The OG mask is the cutest. However, the traps are not really that great. Clown: Eeeeh ... uh, I like his mori. But I don't like to play against him. The bottle effects are yucky. Spirit: She has some pretty awesome cosmetics, and I like her lore. I hate that some fun stuff got nerved so much. I liked to go against and play as Gen Grab Spirit. Legion: I like the concept of the Legion, and Susie has the best cosmetics. I don't like how the power turned out to be. I would have preferred an ability to like the Twins or the Knights. But okay. Plague: She is my queen. There is nothing bad about her (aside from Fountain RNG, maybe). She is a goddess. She deserves all the praise she can get. She did nothing wrong. She tried to help her people. She is perfect! Ghost Face: I like that he is not a killer from the Scream movies. Granted, I only saw Scream 1, but I didn't actually like those two guys. I like my cool and calculated Ghosty. I dislike that I never seem to get anyone with the stalk. Demogorgon: I love when it opens its mouth. It looks so adorable. I don't even mind when it eats me. It's sad that Demo left the game. Oni: Another big, buff, beefy guy. My, my, I love his lore. And I love the Minotaur. He can (redacted). I am not good at playing him, so ... yeah. Deathslinger: I like the gun sound. But he's an absolute no-go for me because he spits in the lobby, and I hate that. Executioner: The sound design is awesome. I like how he drags the sword over the ground. The Mori is weird, especially when he twists the big ass knife in that small space. Blight: I like the feeling when I successfully dodge the bouncy ball. I can't really play him, but somehow after just two games, I got a 4k on the Eeyrie of Crows. And I somehow like that. (It was the survivors' fault. They made a barely 1k into a 4k.) I don't like when I get hit by Blight. Twins: The lore is awesome, and I like the family dynamic. I don't like the bugs. Trickster: My babygirl, he is perfect. I love his lore and his design. He deserves the world! All he needs (like David) is a bunny costume. Give it to me, BHVR. I don't really play him, though. Nemesis: He was one of the few killers that I could play back when I played killer. The Zombies (Robert and Bethany) can be funny sometimes. But I absolutely hate the sound when you are infected. I can't stand it! Cenobite: The design is cool, and that he speaks. But anything else is meh. Artist: She looks pretty, and the birds are cool, I guess. But other than that, I never got warm toward her. Onryo: It's cool that she's from the Ring, and I like the sound design. But I hate that I almost never get condemned. I hate that this one Onryo killed me, one bar away from being fully condemned. I tried to signal them to wait, but they didn't get the hint. Dredge: Aww, it's my favorite thing. I love it. I would love it if (redacted). Locker RNG, I guess. Mastermind: His design is cool, but not much else. I get so annoyed when he appears (mostly because my friend always tries to imitate him ...) Knight: The lore is cool. And he seems like a big hugger. I wonder if he would bring his friends over for (redacted). I don't like to play against him at all. Skull Merchant: Her design is fantastic. I am not much of a fan of the mask, though. I like her lore. But I played only once against her. I eventually quit because the match was 20 Minutes already. It dragged on for another 10 after I left.
Thank you for sharing all of this! I'm really glad I'm not the only one who doesn't hold down the button long enough to uncloak as Wraith 😂 The worst part of a facecamping Bubba really is how a solo queue squad loses their minds and forgets how to play the game suddenly trying to rescue you, I agree 🤣 I agree Legion should have functioned more like Twins and/or had an ability to blend in with the Survivor team. I'm really glad to hear you say all that about my main Plague 😁 I love that you named the zombies too! My names are Steve and Edna (Steve comes from an ongoing joke during my RE2 RM playthrough and Edna was what chat decided to name the female zombie the other week on stream) All the "redacted" lines had me cracking up😂
think of it this way, if dredge went to the unlocked locker youd have to lock every locker and then he just needs to break 1 and only 1 locker per tile, and you wasted seconds locking all of them. So it gives survivors a benefit for their time wasted as well as dredge the benefit of no locks if he breaks ones that he sees
True, but the way it is allows Survivors to lock a set of lockers effectively twice, which I don't like. If I teleport to the locked locker of the pair, then they can come back and lock the second one later forcing me then to teleport to that one instead of the one I already broke. I'd rather be given the option to choose which one I go to, without being able to know which one might be locked.
they even went industrial with skull merchant's chase music, i hate the mask being blinged out. it looks so bad and ugly. which i guess they arent trying to make us LIKE killers, but at the same time, we went from something like knight which was well designed in at least the way he looks, and dredge which just greatly does a great design with the body horror element, and artist who is one of the best looking killers in the game design wise, her visuals are amazing, her effects are great she looks so good. how did we go from artist dredge and knight to rich sci-fi karen?
If I ever go against Bubba, I always beg in my mind for him to take me to basement and insidious camp. And for some reason, I enjoy it because he is funny, especially the sounds he makes is so funny
The thing you said about clown is why I play him for the hope someone has to go through immense torture because that’s exactly what this game needs [just in case anyone thinks I’m not joking I am joking]
i love plauge, she's very unique and she's cool in general but unfortunately i suffer from Emetophobia, so after a while i cant even have sound or look at my screen due to the sounds survivors make or it in general (cant look at her mori) , nothing wrong with the character so to say just an unfortunate thing for players who suffer like me
Yeah, I know several people who suffer from that and struggle with Plague, so you are not alone in that. I can definitely appreciate the mori being one of the worst parts for you!
I completely agree! She was one of the last killers I bought because of that. When I play her for tomes, I mostly just M1 and as survivor I go super stealthy, cause being sick makes it harder for me to play. It’s sad, cause I actually really like her lore and playstyle. I just wish there was a setting to change her purge into something else. Like when it’s the red corrupt purge, it doesn’t seem to bother me as much.
I see more of the other killers then I do oni Myers and pyramid head Today when I played survivor for my daily task (I main Felix when I play survivor) I played against 2 Ghostface and 2 clowns a nemmy 2 knights and 5 Wesker's and a skull merchant
I'm not at all surprised that it was 5 Weskers... there's so many of them right now! Actually surprised you saw 2 Clowns since I'm pretty sure I've legit seen more Twins than Clowns myself.
Hey, spirit newbie here! I've played DBD with TV speakers and a headset, and I will say this, playing with TV speakers is harder if there are other people in the house that you have to think about, so you can't turn the TV up very high to hear as well as you want, but for me, it's about the same. I just follow scratch marks if I can't listen.
My favorite thing about the Dredge (my main), is just how fun locker hopping is. Either that or the Maurice skin. I agree that locker spawns can fuck you over. Haddonfield is the worst map for Dredge as lockers are always very clustered. I do disagree about locker priority. If it wasn't like this, the moment one lock is broken, the other lock has zero value for survivors.
The Maurice skin is pretty epic. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about the locker spawns with Dredge. I get what you are saying about locker priority. Perhaps you are just a better Dredge than me. In my mind, unless the Dredge player is able to keep track of which ones are broken, the other lock would still have some value because there would be the 50/50 chance the Dredge would teleport to the remaining locked one. I for one know I would not be able to routinely keep track of that, but I'm also not a Dredge main, so I'll defer to you on that one.
You hit the nail with nemesis add ons, like marvins blood is the only that actually does anything worthwhile and wth is a green add on just making survivors hindred for an extra 0.2 sec?
The clown comment you made though! I have literally disconnected or offed myself from games because of the clown's gasses. I get very lightheaded and have a severe vagal response when I go against him! I wish it were possible to block myself from going against clowns ever purely because it physically takes a toll on me. For instance, I had a game where I was the first found and this killer didn't try to hit me at all- he only used gasses for the majority of the game. I think he maybe tried to hit me twice. By the time he got his first hit I was shaking and feeling pin pricks from my head down to my chest, these are precursors to me blacking out. This physical reaction doesn't happen every time I go against him but I often hide during those games purely to avoid his gas.
Thank you for sharing your experience. This is what I've heard from others as well and makes me hesitant to pick Clown. I still play him very occasionally because I enjoy it, but it's also hard because I don't enjoy knowing that I might be causing someone else IRL discomfort.
About the skull merchant's lore i don't know but i feel like it's immensely lacking i mean there are parts that leaves me puzzled and somehow i don't see the connection between her character and life and how she became a killer and it's quite disappointing because even her design does not match like you said, it's not cohesive.. so i believe they kinda messed up with the part they tried to merge these two pieces based on her talents, gifts and personality and fell apart. In a way they could have done better in my opinion because apart from her appearance and story her perks are plain dull but i kinda wish they'd add the supernatural element and change her to a badass half human half cyborg lady but with a complete different backstory and a better looking weapon.
These are all good points. I honestly haven't even read her lore yet because nothing about what I was hearing made me want to get to it yet. I think the majority of the community would have appreciated it more if she was a cyborg because that's what a lot of people were expecting.
I agree that her lore doesn’t feel very cohesive, but I do like that she’s the first female killer to just be straight up evil. Like she doesn’t have some tragic backstory or any real reason to kill except she wants to, she can, and it makes her money. Lol. I love the Brazilionaire for that.
I know it's intentional. I don't like it, because it guarantees it doesn't go to waste. I should get to choose which locker I go to, without knowing which one they've locked. The way it is, it turns a pair of lockers into the equivalent of a single locker that has two locks.
speaking about clown and his disorientation.. i have horrible motion sickness and the little crosshair they used to give helped a lot. with the new update it’s basically not even there???? anyone else having that?? it’s literally a dot on my screen rather than the cross i used to have 😭😭
That sounds awful, I'm sorry. I actually just learned about the crosshair the other day, because I honestly have yet to face a Clown myself, so I've never seen it from the Survivor side. Definitely not good if they've changed it.
My dislike for Pyramid Head would be his add-ons. I think that Dredge locker problem may have been fixed. I recently had a match where I locked one, climbed in the other to IH, and Dredge came through snatching me.
I don't know his add ons well enough but I don't remember them being too great either. Regarding Dredge, I think that's the one exception to that rule, if a Survivor is in a locker of a pair the Dredge prioritizes that one automatically above the locked locker.
@ARoberts most of his add ons either buff things that dont need buffing or add irrelevant status effects to stuff that does need it (mainly the trail on the ground)
I find it funny how two of your favourite killers are two of my absolute least favourites Plague is disgusting and I don't like her design even ignoring her abilities The Artist looks weird but not in a creepy way, moreso in a "why is your neck 2 feet long?" Kinda way
I am surprised that the thing you dislike about Huntress isn't the same as the thing you like about her. For me personally, I love her lullaby but I also dislike how catchy it is. Sometimes after playing Huntress for a longer time I still got her lullaby stuck inside my head even tho I play a different killer or even survivor.
Interesting, I could definitely understand that then. I usually rotate through Killers frequently rather than play the same one back to back for long sessions, so I haven't gotten it stuck in my head before.
Me and my gf were playing together and we ran into a very stealthy pig. She scared the shit out of me every single time she found me. My gf was laughing her ass off everytime and screamed or yelled. Didnt help i had new player obliviousness to me at the time either lol.
@@theARoberts Did you meant some sort scope or reflex sight (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflector_sight), like the ones on modern rifles ? Because Deathslinger's weapon has an iron sight (like this one en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_sights).
I feel like the tentacles out the eyes being so small could be a conscious decision on Wesker's part since he sees himself as so superior he doesn't need to use his full power, just enough for any other survivors who could be watching the Mori to understand how superior he is to them. I could be wrong about that but it's my interpretation.
There is nothing clunky about artist tbh, there are instances like: you place the bird directly at a pallet(while it’s up) you see survivor walking on it’s flight path- fire it get a health state, but if you place the bird less then 3 meters away from the dropped pallet the flight path is considered to be obstructed, so it needs to be placed a bit further away if you want the bird to hit over the pallet. Also the fact that birds can’t be placed too close to walls etc. she just requires some knowledge to use her effectively
Oh I generally get a 4k with her. I just feel clunky doing it. It's not about the strategy for me but the rhythm of her gameplay I don't like. But I've been assured by plenty Artist mains that the clunky feeling goes away with practice, so I intend to give her more time
Trickster is such a greatly designed killer and just character as a whole but when it comes to being good in the game it sucks he falls short most of the time 😅
Demo being removed is not a low effort take, it's the ONLY BAD THING! Good Demodoggy *Pats DemDem* By the way, the locked locker thing is counterplay, but 90% of survs lock all the lockers anyways, cause 90% of players are not intelligent and put little effort into learning how to play.
LOL I'm glad you agree then! Thanks for backing me up! I totally get the counter play argument. I just don't like that it allows Survivors to lock a pair of lockers twice. To me it would be better if Dredge could choose and it was left more to chance.
I adore the sound & visual design for The Knight and it makes me sad that everything else about him is. Not great. Don’t care much for his perks and while conceptually I think he’s got a neat power I feel negative about it in a way I don’t quite know how to put into words right now.
I think you've said it well, including it being hard to put into words. There's just something meh about him in the end, despite a ton of good along the way.
God, I played a Wraith match the other day and kept beefing the uncloak, just bing-bonging my bell for no reason. It's not just a you problem 😂 Also, pineapple on pizza is the best.
I'm so glad it's not just me!😅I think it's the sound ending before you're fully uncloaked or something. I think I listen more than I watch the bar. Same thing with Nemesis and kickings gens, he finishes the animation and sound before the gen is fully damaged. Also glad it's not just me who likes pineapple on pizza! 😁
I honestly don't agree with saying "just disconnect." That just hurts everyone. Yes, the crosshair is great but may not work for everyone, and I've had at least a couple of people comment that they've had that crosshair change to a dot recently which works far less well. Not sure if it's a bug or a change or a setting.
you are not the only one with that problem with wraith! i think it might be because the sound of the wailing bell finishes before the uncloak happens. you need to keep holding for a tiny bit longer but you hear the bell and think you're done. i'm pretty sure that's what throws me off!
@@BraidensWorldProductions that too, yeah. i'm a pretty new player so i don't have all the intricacies of how to play each character down so little things like that throw me way off
It’s very important to remember (coming from someone who can’t stand the skull merchant) that her cosmetic design is ripped directly from the design of a character in one of her father’s manga. The reason she looks the way she does is to mimic that, and it’s proved in one of her iridescent add-ons.
Question: assuming there's a killer locker room in the Realm... which killer is the biggest smack talker? My money is on Wesker, he's just an arrogant narcissist to begin with, plus... sarcastic AF.
I know, right?! What irritates me the most is that there's no objective list I can refer to, I simply don't know what I am or am not allowed to say, or put in the title or description. All I can rely on is trial and error and community chatter.
I don’t personally like pineapple on pizza. It’s not even a taste thing. I actually quite like the sweet taste in tandem with the iconic pizza flavor. I just can’t take the texture. It feels like I’m eating pizza with rubbery gross cheese chunks. With that said, no person can declare where pineapples belong. The fruit should be allowed to choose. #pineapplerights.
Omg I hate Pyramid Head music design so much on the other hand xD I mean, his lobby music is great, but Terror Radius and Chase just make me so sad. Especially the 8 meter and actual chase music. These do not fell at all fitting into characted of Pyramid Head in my opinion. And knowing how much better and more fitting it sounded on ptb (easy to find as well) it just makes me sad that they changed it.
I never knew he had different music on the PTB. I'll have to go look that up. It's my understanding that it was all composed by one of the original SH2 composers, so I'm actually surprised to hear you say that
Disclaimer: this is in no way me trying to make fun of him, I just think it’s funny he didn’t give a more appropriate point other than personal problems with the character and his learning curve
Oh 100% it's my skill issue 😂 There's not much I don't like about him right now except for that, so I went with it. One day that will change though once I invest the time into learning him I'm sure.
@@reivoidwalker Definitely understand that. I myself really enjoy pineapple on pizza, however, I will say that it's almost in a different category entirely in my mind, like a cookie "pizza" or something. In other words, when I am in the mood for pizza I'm thinking about peperoni or sausage pizza, not Hawaiian.
