i love how after ghostys little "boo!" he tilts his head a bit and it rly looks like hes laughing to himself, shows off his personality PERFECTLY

Imo Wesker goes into S-Tier because he has a third lobby animation where he slashes his knife, flicks it, then does his cheesy chuckle as he looks at it. He also has a pre-game lobby animation where he turns to the player and pushes up his sunglasses as he smirks at you. So campy and fun, I love playing him.

I did know this, however, I wanted to keep it to the standard Killers because I don't own all the Legendary skins. I do love Hunk's animations though!

I think Trickster should get bumped up to C tier specifically because while in a game lobby waiting on everyone to ready up, he turns around and winks at the player.

I love how Pinhead and Wesker interact with the player, but Wesker does it in a much more show off-y way (I know other killers do it but those 2 are my favourite lol)

I love how they've really been adding that to a lot of the newer Killers. My personal favorites are Onryo and Artist because they literally give me chills.

Fun fact: you CAN prevent the jump scare from Onryo, but only if you keep an eye on her. She takes a moment to turn herself back to you. If you keep turning her, she’ll eventually jump scare the wrong way.

You know what other creepy thing I just noticed about Sadako? Right before she does the jumpscare, she actually turns her head up a bit to look at you. She usually stares more towards the ground. It doesn't just come out of nowhere, instead almost feeling like a warning from her. "I know you are there. Don't test my patience."

As someone who refuses to buy DLC characters and therefore have played the default killers a lot, I love the Doctor's whole vibe. His evil laugh is ON POINT! I also love how Meyer's is so still it's almost like he's not even breathing compared to the others, super creepy and effective design that holds up over 4 or 5 decades (don't know the exact release of the first Halloween) later!

Agreed that the Doc's laugh is deeply creepy and on point. And yes, Myers' stoic stare is one of the most unsettling things ever, so simple but so effective. Just curious, why do you refuse to buy the DLC characters?

Trickster has one more animation with his weapon as well as he turns around and winks to you when hes looking at the survivors in the lobby (but that probably doesnt count for you)

Makes sense for Myers stalks and waits for the kill But I do love pyramid head Wesker and Ghostface lobby animation's I also want to Know how pyramid head can even see

That's why I felt it justified to at least move him up a tier from Trapper, it makes absolute sense for him. Pyramid Head, Wesker, and Ghost Face all have great animations! And I'm glad I'm not alone in wondering how Pyramid Head can see, I think that's part of the creepiness factor is that he defies reality.

@@theARoberts true like with pyramid head when I play as him and I'm blinded I am like how the hell do you blind someone who has a pyramid over there head and have no visible eyes it's like with demo he has no eyes yet he gets blinded I want to know how they even know where there going when they have no eyes that I can see

your friendly neighbourhood texas chainsaw massacre fan here!! fun bubba fact: his little lip-lick / tongue thing he does in his lobby animation could possibly be a reference to a shot in the original film where he just sits down after killing someone and looks.. distressed. it's one of the many points in the film where you feel genuinely bad for him. during the shot, he's seen licking his teeth while he wonders what exactly he's going to do about all these teenagers wandering onto his property. idk if it's a direct reference but it certainly did make my silly little texas chainsaw massacre nerd brain go "hehe he did the thing!!" not sure if it can elevate his placing in the tierlist at all but it _is_ an interesting note. also please never call frank an alpha male again /j

early to one of these tier lists for once, the subjects of them are always so interesting and this one fits that bill too. I'm a huge fan of the idle animations, and am so glad some older killers got updated in some way graphic-wise in lobby. time to dive in!

Doesn't really count but the doctor frequently just twitches and moves his head randomly. He also kind of slams the Stick in his hands but it's not very visible.

What if you made a tier list about how adaptable killers are and how easy they can make builds work and play styles. Like how stealth killers and lullaby killers can't use stealth perks effectively and pyramid head can't use hook perks well. How killers like nemisis can't use sloppy butcher very well etc. Or killers that use perks effectively like defensive killers with hex and doctor with skill checks

True Maybe for April fools after being in the lobby for a while as Michael causes him to raise his knife and start walking towards the camera. Almost like Onroyo but he walks instead of teleporting

How many of these do you still have? I am amazed at your ability to make everything into a tier list. With that being said I found most if not all of these animations pretty bad. Especially Trickster because I thought he would do something cool with his knifes but he just stood there. Onryo however is the best one and its not even close. Really gives you the scare if you see it for the first time.

lol thanks man, believe it or not I have quite a few ideas left. Some have come from viewers too, which always helps. I was definitely more critical on this one, using the C & D tiers much more than I normally do. But agreed, Onryo's is incredible.

Bruh such a missed opportunity with Trickster. I mean, the man is in showbiz and is also a totally narcissist attention whore. But here he just stands stiff, barely does anything. I expected him to be way more flashy/cocky, like how he winks at you while in the pregame lobby screen. Just something with way more flair, something that conveys he enjoys it that the attention is on him.

I'd say high B or low A. His entry animation is really cool, intimidating, great sound, especially with the music. The one where he strikes his sword into the ground is similar in quality. Maybe for the sound alone I've concinced myself of low A

Yeah, I had a feeling they might. I find that the game usually won't do all their animations in the same go. There are some that I know have at least 3 different ones, and 2 of the 3 will repeat several times before I see the 3rd. Makes it really hard to rank the ones I don't know as well 😅
