Cool lil thing about Nemesis's Mori here is that its actually a stylized version of a kill animation he does to Jill if you get caught in the RE3 remake. He also yells, "S.T.A.R.S!" when killing or grabbing a S.T.A.R.S member from a locker.

I think Trickster's mori is so genius. The first thing he says is "간다," which is "Let's go" in Korean, which is like he's starting a show. Then he throws the little photo of himself, and in kpop there are things called photocards that come in albums and they're collected by a large amount of kpop fans (some even sell in the $1,000s if people like them enough). Then at the end he says "감사합니다" which is "Thank you" in korean, so it's like him ending a show. His mori is really disturbing but fits his backstory and his character so well its one of my favourites for how tailored it is to him.

Wesker’s is really fun, especially from the perspective of another survivor. I remember the first time I saw it happen, it was so shocking to me. An Ada was on the ground and I was running to heal them. Right before I did, they popped up and I thought they had Unbreakable. Then Ada punched Wesker and I was like “oh shit!” Lol. It still catches me off guard sometimes, I love it. 😄

Also, twins have two unique moris. If Victor is outside of Charlotte then instead she'll kill the survivor with her sickle, creating a wound similar to the one in her chest.

Great list! You did miss the alternate Twins mori with just Charlotte. My favorite mori, from a creative perspective, would be The Artist. It just encompasses her power so well.

on the dredge's weapon, i believe it is said somewhere that it is a plow blade it combined into itself. that, combined with the fact that it can practically whip it? imagine a really sharp, heavy rock hitting you in the back at high speeds. that's how i think it's able to do damage

Little useless trivia about demo's mori: the devs had intended on making a sort of responsive blood system, I think as a PTB however it was scrapped. Demo's mori is has a remnant of this feature which is why using it is almost always guaranteed to give a unique looking blood spatter each time unlike other killers.

Correct me if I'm wrong but with certain moris they added voicelines where there weren't before. For example Huntress, she didn't shout when bringing the Axe down before. It was total silence save for the axe swinging and bloodsplatter. They even outright changed Pigs too. And when did they get rid of the Clowns head stomp??

TRUE FUN FACT OVERLORD:The survivor hitbox is a cylinder and with the survivor vaulting it takes exactly 0.5 seconds to get to the other side but while the survivor is vaulting the hitbox stays on the opposite side of the pallet or window then in the direction of them vaulting so when they do actually land on the other side of the vault the hitbox basically teleports to the other side and this also explains why some laggy killers get hits from the other side of the pallet when the survivor vaults and if the survivor is laggy you will get hit from ridiculous spots | off the record, breakdown, resurgence and renewal will apply if you kobe | The lingering aura of Awakened Awareness is still there, it's just coded to 0 seconds, so if you bring lethal pursuer with this you can bring back the original effect to 2 seconds of extra Aura | Doctors max static blast range is 40 meters by default but you can increase it with terror radius perks | While Demanifested as the Ònryó you also lose collision | while Myers is in tier 1 you have a 5% vault buff tier 2 you have a 10% vault buff and In tier 3 it's 15% | while you are stalking as either Myers or Ghost face you lose your collision and survivors can go right through you | Any type of insta down will be countered by off the record | Trickster only needs one blade to blind you with hex:third seal | Death slinger can shoot you then miss on purpose but you'll still be blinded by hex:third seal | your terror radius doesn't immediately disappear, your terror radius decreases by 10 meters per second.

fun fact!! the way bubba slams the hammer down on the survivor's head in his mori is a reference to the original film, in which he leaps out of another room to strike someone over the head, leaving them twitching on the ground before he drags them into the room he came from and slams the door behind him. the scene is famous for being one of the scariest scenes in horror and film in general, and is actually the first time leatherface was ever seen on-screen!! it's also a rare example of a jumpscare being used correctly and effectively. - your local horror film nerd who went absolutely batshit crazy when they noticed the reference

Btw the Clown stomps on their HEAD not their BACK it just looks like he stomps their back because of the skin you are using.

As someone with Emetophobia, Plague actually helped me a lot to be able to watch people in videogames or movies throw up and not get panic attacks from it anymore. Real life is a different story tho😂

I really enjoy The Plague's Mori as it feels very appropriate to her character - a ritualistic sacrifice! The Artist's is another fave of mine brutal but making sense to her character!

As a huge fan of horror I find a lot of the more brutal and involved Moris to be the best ones in the game! I like Hag's, Trickster's, Ghostface's, and Wesker's the most. Most of the movie ones appear to be move references. Freddy's for example, he does that to a character in Nightmare on Elm Street 2. Ghostie's mimics the intro kill to Scream I think even down to mumber of stabs. I can't hate Bubba's either, it's brutal and I'm pretty sure he does that in the film to someone! Works well.

If the Canadian censorship wasn't as strict as it was, Demo, Hag, Billy, Oni, etc. would be so, so much more brutal because of how the survivors would be actually missing their body parts (imagine Demo just eating the head of the survivor and seeing them headless) or having their body become chunks while getting smashed into the ground (Oni smashing with his kanabo). At least the censorship forced the team to be creative because with Nemesis' mori, you don't see the head being squashed in (the game during and after the mori shows no signs of the head being squashed at all), instead though you imagine the head being squashed because of the way the camera moves during the end forcing you to connect in your mind what just happened without having to show you the end result. The censorship also forced another creative mori design like Dredge and Cenobite where at the end, the survivor gets consumed or completely dissappears from the trial entirely (even after the mori, the body is straight up just gone like the survivor never existed).

18:11 So I have a little theory but I'm not too sure I think that the blight became what it is by a big exposure to the serum (maybe at first in small doses) but the syringes he uses now are a very big dose, enough to boost himself for a bit but maybe too strong for a normal person

The thing about pigs mori is it's lore accurate. Firstly she's one of the more human killers, so showing the survivors trying to fight back shows that, secondly this is how she personally has killed people in saw.

Hag should be S, it is pretty brutal

i think that wesker mori should had been his iconic "rhino charge" ( the one that does to spencer and when you fail some quick time events in re5 ) through the chest with maybe a bit of struggle from the survivor , like how he punches his glasses of and does couple pounches more just to wesker enter god mode dodge 1-2 punches more brake his arm and finally getting imapaling you with his bare hand .... such a miss opportunity

To make the oni even cooler. The reason he rips the tongue out is because of his lore. He got that named cursed on his family and in return killed anyof the samurais/ sensies that had called him that. And since almost every survivor calls him the "oni" he rips their tongue out

The nurse, clown and the legion's mori will always be my favourites. The nurse one is simple but tragic, the clown's is disgusting but interesting and i'm obsessed with the animations used for the legion's.

I disagree with some of these. I would put PIG on B or A because the slice at the end is very clean and swift. I would bump legion up to A because the fact that the survivor fights back and it just looks overall above average. Freddy and Huntress feel a bit to plain in my opinion so I would move them to either B or C. I would also put artist on S but other then that I think the rest is spot on. I very much enjoyed the puppy brakes and the fact that you have good reasoning behind everything you said as per usual

The best 3 in my opinion has to be Trickster, pyramid head, Michael Myers, and I only can think of two bad ones that's the trapper, the Wraith.

ngl, in demo's mori he should just bite the survivor's head clear off, maybe even spit it out to the side or just eat it. would make it so much more unique

The legion is anything but basic. He is a very unique killer and his mori is a Masterpiece

Much like horror movies, it's 100% fine to say "I like this kill" because that's kind of the point. I like the chestburster scene from Alien, I like the sleeping bag kill from Friday Part 7, I like the "how's it hanging, Phil" kill from Child's Play 2, I like the blood fountain kill from the original Nightmare, I like the AED kill from The Thing.

Cool thing about pigs more is that it’s actually a neat reference, the throat slit is a reference to Tapp’s (Retconned) death, it’s actually a reference to the same throat slit shown in the “Tenacity” perk icon, and I just like the stab through the hand…..still pretty bad…..should’ve been a Reverse Bear Trap related Mori, like shoving a trap on them and holding them down in reference to You Know Who’s death in Saw 3D

Pinhead has my favorite Mori.

My personal favorites are Ghostface, Demo, and Artist. Oni’s got a proper eyebrow raise out of me; had never seen the tongue before! Pinhead’s definitely got one of the best in the game; I like the ones that connect most to the lore, like Clown and Trickster.

I’m not sure if someone already mentioned it, but Doctor, Wraith, Nurse and Pig have different mori’s depending on the killer or survivor perspective.

In my opinion is first person so much better, because it feels much more intense and I seek for intensity by playing killer not for it being cinematic. I play killer because I want to be the bad guy this time (this sounds a bit wrong, but I like it when you can be the bad guy in games) and a third person mori just takes something away that I enjoy. And I love first person in general

Old video but Oni's "bat thing" is a Kanabo, a traditional Japanese war club. And as a nice attention to detail, Oni in Japanese mythology traditionally wield a Kanabo as their weapon and are immortal so long as they have it on them. And is the root of a saying where someone attempting an impossible or near impossible is going up against "An Oni with an iron Kanabo".
