Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic: There’s only ONE thing you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6… the rotating bezel is BACK.

Samsung has also returned the Galaxy Watch Classic to the lineup - that was always our favourite.
Samsung has slimmed the bezels and the sapphire-topped displays are 20% larger than before. A new processor provides 18% faster clock speeds and the RAM has been bumped up to 2GB.
The feature set has been improved too, with Samsung adding better sleep tracking, personalised heart rate zones, irregular heart rhythm alerts and a track run mode.
The Samsung Watch 6 is available in 40 and 44mm sizes, while the Watch 6 Classic comes in 43 and 47mm versions. There are also Wi-Fi and 5G variants for each. Prices start at £289 for the Wi-Fi Watch 6, running up to £459 for the 5G Watch 6 Classic.

@alexv1190 I love samsung but it has not fixed it to the 5 pro. As someone who traded it in for 6 classic. It's improved but it's not the 5 pro. I'm afraid samsung has went with the madden method. Instead of adding new features it just takes them and puts them back later. I imagine next year the battery will be back

@@dustinn6075it had lag because it was fresh out of the box. The watch is doing things in the background in the first few days. That's why you see lags. My watch is buttery smooth after 2 days.

Came from Garmin, now with Watch 6 Classic. I'll send the Garmin Instinct crossover to my brother who needs the more rugged watch for his line of work. So far, I feel happy with myself.

@@boom5732 the problem is that everyone is speaking about the performance of the new chip, like it matters. For me efficiency is more important than performance. I guess I will stick with watch 4 classic for another year. Watch 6 is too expensive and it is just an incremental update.

I'm in that mood where I can't wait for the Watch 6 Classic but I am enjoying the anticipation. I'm still on-the-fence over trading the Watch 5 Pro. Took me a little while to get comfortable with no rotating bezel. Even the Gear S3 had a rotating bezel. I saw my old S3 not long ago and the design has held-up with the passing of time. Any tips on going with Google Fi? The Watch 5 Pro and the Watch 6 Classic are eligible to be on their network so long as one has any plan and a Pixel or Android phone; not sure of Apple products. I really wanted an LTE watch that can be independently used for making and receiving calls. Maybe next time.

Samsung hasn't launched a new Pro model this time around and so the Pro 5 will remain in the range along side the new Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. The Watch 6 Classic is therefore not necessarily an upgrade/replacement for the Pro... but the bezel may be nice to have back.

The regular 6 doesn't have a rotating bezel. Just the 6 Classic has a rotating bezel.

@@mr_red13 Not unless you get the Galaxy Watch 3 or older. Sadly, the newest watches are no longer supported by the Galaxy Watch application which can be downloaded on iPhone.

Yes, iPhone users can still circle the square by buying Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and prior. And (sharp inhalation of breath for i-sheep) you will actually find these watches capable of working very well, albeit not for ECG and blood oxygen stuff. But they can do everything else like take/make calls, SMS, apps, etc.

I got a watch 6 classic and I had returned it after 1 week usage. It's TOO heavy.... not possible to wear for a long time as my wrist pains literally. I ordered watch 6 now.

Incorrect information. Watch 6 doesn’t have bezel. Watch 6 classic has. You said as though 6 has bezel and 6 classic is also back.

I've gotten it to see if I want to upgrade from my galaxy watch 3. I will miss the colour as I have the rose gold but it has wearos which is better and the battery is quite a bit bigger as well. But I'll decide if I'll keep it or not after trying it for a few days

Personal experience I have the 5g classic and it's pulling about a day and a half with vibration and notifications going off and getting heavy use. I haven't done any battery saving options I'm sure I could get more

Be careful with trade-ins at Samsung there is a 50% chance it will arrive with empty box. Whether its fedex or samsung somebody is stealing trade ins. I sent a newly paid off watch 4 classic $400 for $200 trade in towards watch 6 only for it to arrive empty box. I was charged full price so I returned it. Now not only did I not get my $400 watch 4 classic back I was also charged $200 a loss of $600 because samsung steals from customers

Feature-wise they're the same but the 5G version can make calls, message and use maps etc independently, whereas the Bluetooth version will need to be within range of the paired smartphone.

@CornFlakeZ You have to add a "new" line through your cell carrier because it requires data plan and it will use your same phone number. For Verizon, I think it's about $10-$12/month but not sure how much for others.

Can you tell me one thing. If you got the Watch 6... You can, e.g. if you have a fitness app (like strava) installed there. After you have finished your running session outside. Transfer to your smartphone at home? If you didn't take your smartphone with you, for example when jogging.

@@CornFlakeZ I'm not exactly sure what your question is... I don't take my phone when I'm running as it's extra weight for me. I want the GPS to track the route and the distance I ran to see my progress over time. And about the transfer, I believe the watch will sync the data when connected via Bluetooth, which can be done after the run. P.s. I was talking about the Bluetooth version of the watch.

And then you're also afraid that it might... jumps out. If the smartphone really had to be taken along with the watch. That would be really stupid. Good day sir, that helped me a lot.
