my neighbor just gave me one of these it's brand new . it was her ex husband's. it was bought and never used . I threw some gas in it and it cracked right off after sitting unused all those years. mine came with a decomp valve new . I put the first start on this saw and was blown away how much power it has. and my first target was an 18 inch log of hard oak and it cut through way faster than I thought it would. my buddy had a same cc craftsman saw and my jonsered cut through that same log at almost twice the speed without bogging down like the craftsman. I couldn't believe that my neighbor gave me this saw . she is like an adopted grandma we help her and have become close over the years. but like I said her husband had bought it new never even put gas in it and he passed. the box degraded over time she said but she always kept it in the garage. when she gave it to me she made me promise 2 things. one was make sure I use it and the second was never get rid of it . at that point I had not saw what the model of the saw was or was really familiar with the jonsered name . so I promised her that I would not let it go and definitely use it . Wich I have and will continue to do so . it's the nicest saw I have owned that's for sure. and when I looked the history up on them my jaw about dropped when I saw what they sold for . so much so that I went back over to explain that this wasn't just a cheap saw and that if she wanted it back that I'd understand. she looked at me and laughed at me and said honey I knew what it was when I gave it to you . and I want you to have it . mind you this lady lives on SSI and has limited income and could have easily sold this saw for some decent cash . she instead gave it to me so I cherish this saw now and will use it forever. I'm going to order every replacement part I can for it and put them on the shelf that way if I need to rebuild it in the future I'll have the parts . it's basically a Husqvarna 350 from my understanding they brought jonsered and used the jonsered design and sold it in the states as the husky 350 . but my saw was made in Switzerland. they also sold for about 100 dollars more than the husksvarna 350 did and the jonsered are more desirable and known for being a little better quality with the Swiss made saws . all I know is it's a hell of a saw and all the hop ups for the 350 can be used on the jonsered
@@JandSChainsaw It may be hard to believe, but the spark plug instead of the decompression valve is literally 2 spark plugs. I don't know what the owner did before that, but he was able to do it, the saw didn't work, he told me that there was no compression and the group needed to be changed
