Glad you had no problems! I think as long as you are diligent and aware of your surroundings (and are with someone) you should not have a problem (in the touristy areas)
You said it, in Antigua Guatemala there will not be any incident to any Turis even at night, so many Euperian's do videos and there were SOLO without any problems and that's the reason they pass the word and that's why European's comes.
I wouldn’t recommend being on the street at night. I didn’t have issues but there’s nothing to do at night so it’s better to explore solely during the day
