Guatemala is "a country of volcanoes, beautiful landscapes, coffee, and chocolate" - and until I watched Noraly ("Itchy Boots") and now, Ksenia, when I thought of Guatemala, all I could picture were crowds of people fleeing north to the U.S. from cities filled with gangs and poverty. This is truly eye-opening, to see the beauty of Guatemala.

Excellent choice of a motorcycle for this journey. It fits your stature and road choices.The smaller motorcycles are much easier to handle and get you into places the larger ones cannot. I have an Africa Twin but yearn for my old Honda XL250 once the trails become less trodden. Luggage solutions are always a compromise. Having traveled extensively in North America and elsewhere abroad needing to carry tools and parts, I needed a wheeled tool case. But when carrying lots of not so conveniently shaped items, I would get a large duffle bag to stuff the items inside - especially when flying. When the duffle bag was not needed, it would collapse into the size of a folded shirt. Having soft panniers would work with the duffle bag concept. Having a backpack that can accommodate things strapped to it would also help. Hikers do this. This is the first of your episodes to show up in my feed. Hope you continue in the spirit of Noraly of seeing the countries and interactions with the local people. The world can use more people like this.

i lived in San Pedro for 6 months...used it as a home base so I could ride to the other cities of Guatemala. lots to see and enjoy! Made a bunch of videos from Guatemala as well if ur interested in seeing what different towns look like. ur in for a great adventure!

I am also a biker and have found that the smaller bikes are better fun offroad, but also not bad on the Highway and I can do 600kms easily in a day with camping gear, I look forward to your next adventure

You can buy a small carrier that has wheels and folds up pretty small, but you still have to carry that around on your bike, so there is no easy solution to air travel with bike gear.

I went through Antigua in 2016 while on my motorcycle trip to Ushuaia. Nice video!

Very good video , excellent presentation , like that you show the local food plates , but on that note your cámara was moving to much on your first food plate and we couldn’t see the plate very good, but all and all very good video .

Nice bike Kseniia, red is a beautiful color and it suits you well. I rented a similar bike once in Arizona for off road adventures , it was a Honda ,back in India my brother owns Royal Enfield Himalayan , but it's lot heavier than your bike . 👍

I hope Mosko Moto will take your requirement list on board !! It all sounded quite reasonable to me - A lot of very well-known ADV vloggers use their products ( some are sponsered) . but you are the first to suggest improvements as far as I have seen.

I don't know about "perfect," but soft saddlebags connected by wide straps with open space in the middle can be put on the motorcycle and accessed from above, and carried on the shoulders, with the load balanced between front and back. Sort of like two backpacks connected with shoulder straps and worn one in front, one in back. The way I did it was like a double load, however--to be carry-on luggage for an airplane flight, the bags would each have to be half size. (And I was not packing them very far.)

Rickrack makes a good rolling bag for bikes with wheels. I think it needs a mount to attach it to the bike though. I am enjoying your travels very much. I have a bike like yours . A 21 F 750 GS BMW . ONLY 4K miles. I have hard bags on mine. Take care.

L solucio para el transporte son loz carritos que se pliegan pesan casi nada y después pones el equipaje sobre el . Al menos existen en argentina veré como hago para enviarete una foto o enlace del mismo. En el equipaje lo ideal en vez de 1 grande serían 2 laterales 35 lts más pequeño más in tercero sobre el colin trasero de la moto o mochila 25lts

The Honda Dual Purpose 250 is easier to pick up if you fall. Good Choice. The KLR 650 is too tall and top-heavy and weighs too much. Even for a shorter man it's hard to ride in narrow dirt roads and trails IMO

dude the start of the video was way too shaky, did you forget to unlock the stabilizer? You are alway really good about smooth video. Look at at the dogs shadow @ 4:45, so cool. I dislike side-load back packs as well. You just designed the" Kseniia back pack" - go get it made and sell a bunch, you'll be famous! btw please clean the dam camera lens.
