One Week With The Newest Digimon Vpet! Is It Worth YOUR Money?? 

I am one of those that enjoyed the heck of this release mainly because when I was a kid I've always wanted a colored V1 and V2 but it didnt happen. Now im already 34 and finally this thing became a reality!

I didn't end up getting one due to the limited roster and already having so many similar vpets. Once they release a color pendulum or color DMX or something like that, I'll be all over it.

I bought the white version two and I love it. I currently have a skullgreymon on it. I cannot stress enough how amazing the screen is. Yeah, the color is cool, but the big draw for me is the backlit screen. It is amazing to play in low light levels.

I really wanted to snag this thing...and then I saw the roster LOL. I'm really glad people are enjoying it though!

Look at the color Tamagotchi's, you can add people from across the world with QR codes and go on play dates. They need to do that with Digimon with battles and I will fork over my money

I always dream a color vpet, vb not scratch my itch on vpet, its feel like training device not digimon vpet device, after playing for awhile damn I love it the only downside is small rooster and crazy stupid price hoping it got retail price…

The rosters are tiny, but I still got both versions to support more Classic Vpets. It's worth it to my, but Zenin just shipped them out yesterday, and I want it sooner! Lol

Great video! I just got mine today! The only thing I feel like I'll nitpick on (last digivice I had was V1) , it needs so much attention! V1 could be left alone for the whole day and it wouldn't be an issue. This one constantly beeps like gaddamn boi

So this digimon device randomly came into mind earlier. I was trying to explain it to my 7 year old son about it. Then I looked on here to show him videos and I had no idea they were still making them. But now he freaking wants them. 😅

This looks like such a fun and usable device for the average Digimon fan, or someone who has a large amount of nostalgia for the original toy. I'm really looking into getting this for me and my friend, though this is pretty expensive. Hopefully, the price goes down soon as more people start buying it.

My thought about the roster is that people expected it to be like 20th way too much, it was like this the whole time even in X they still has one (But huge) roster. Also the compatibility that only do Battles with the Color, it's telling that "Yes we will make more Color series" and it's kinda confirmed in the Dot History book that they're making ver.3-5 right now. I think these two things means they're using the different in programs to previous devices, and since it's become color sprites with backlitght LCD screen that can change background of cause it eats up a lot more data than just black dots on static builtin background so starting with one but stable roster than multiple make sense. It just being too expensive and hard to get to as it's P-Bandai. I hope that this ver.1-2 P-Bandai lot is about testing the water and Mr.Kenji Watanabe's art for collection then release them normally with ver.3-5 for easier access and be a bit cheaper afterward, since they only connect to Color it wouldn't be good commercial strategy to limit them with P-Bandai as a toy like this should be getting to more people.

I definitely love it and the battery life lasted a week for me out of the box before I needed to charge it. I also like the QoL additions with low battery and charge complete icons on-screen with your Digimon rather than being hidden in that C button menu. I do think to get the most out of the device you need both a ver 1 & 2 (& hopefully Bandai will release the 3-5...maybe 6 soon)! I also got mine from JYW! My only gripe is actually the USB C charging. To protect the battery you still need to use a 5W old iPhone charger brick so I do have to swap cables when charging it. Would have almost been better if they stuck with micro USB like the VB/BE so it could have been 1 cable for my Digimons (or given the BE a type C connector....it's just so weird what Bandai did).

I ended up getting three of these. Both version 1 colors and a white version 2. My brick red v1 showed up doa it wouldn’t charge or turn on. So I decided to attempt to fix it instead of returning it like I should have done. And it wouldn’t work. So I bought the blue v1 and white v2 and after they showed up I ended up getting the brick red v1 working. I still like the pendulum 20ths and DMX2 rosters more but these classic rosters are great. I’m hoping they sell well enough for Bandai to make the version 3-5 and hopefully v6 and the pendulums too

It was said beforehand that it'd only connect to other color versions. It's understandable tbh, the hardware is probably really different, so it probaly doesn't even run the same coding as the B&W pets, it'd be impossible to transfer the colored sprites to the older versions due to coding compatibility, and it'd be quite a strange processing to the connection from older pets to the colored one: would the sprites appear in B&W or colored?

I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped but the one thing I don't like is the fact that traited eggs don't seem to be guaranteed anymore. They do serve a purpose and make the Digimon stronger (they were utteely useless in the DM20 since guaranteed evos were a thing) so I guess that balances things out.

Hey! What do you mean with online battles? Any news on this dmc getting firmware updates someday in the future to support online?

Quick question! Whilst you're charging the device, does your Digimon pause and/or sleep automatically? Should I put it nap before charging my device?

I don’t understand that at the same price point the tamagotchi uni from Bandai has a ton of features, you can connect to WiFi, you can buy items, hell you can even marry off your tama! And the Digimon colours new features? It’s in colour. Wow. Make it make sense.

i recently pre-ordered this slection bundle with two dims on Zenin and i don't know if that one is english or not. i've been looking around for ansers to no avail, like will the vial be's from zenin be in english or japanese? or should i cancel and look elsewhere?
