Understandable. While it's nice to have a fun montage with Sephi, it's another to have a montage that gives the seriousness of the character that is Sephiroth. Something truly frightening and menacing. There are some cases where you can balance both funny and serious. Treating his opponents like mere jokes.

I mean, he _is_ a pretty blatant satanic archetype... You know, once hailed as the most supreme SOLDIER he then betrayed everything and everyone and sought to become a God, taking the form of a nigh-on literal "fallen angel." Basically, 7-year-old you was kinda unto something, even if you probably didn't realize all the religious themes he incorporated at the time.

Secondly, "God" in FFVII is the Lifestream, the Planet itself, and the sum total of all life/living beings on the planet, as opposed to the more monotheistic asshole that the heroes body at the end of most JRPGs and anime... Rather, Sephiroth attempted to _become_ that monotheistic asshole. And Cloud and the others used the power of friendship and other goody two-shoes lines from self-help booklets to defeat him.

The One Winged Angel 10,000%. Ridley is scary, because he seems like a childhood monster who kills for fun and has a scary amount of intelligence, and while that is scary, Sephiroth just outdoes him so much. The funny part is that it’s not because Sephiroth is way stronger, it’s just because he has this intimidating aura to him. Even other Final Fantasy villains are a bit intimidated by him (except for Kefka of course).

He's high tier for World of Light. If you want to do a Nuzlocke now is the time. He's a god damn boss killer and if you give him spirits he'll be even worse. His only flaw is his end lag and how hard it is to get the wing out, but I suppose spirits can mitigate that.

Probably not. He might have the damage output of a woodchipper, but his issues with weight and frame data are glaring.
