Actually, Sephiroth can get a side-b AND an up tilt out of a jab lock. This puts them above you to take advantage of his amazing landing coverage, while also giving pressure with the orb.

Important tip regarding Sephritoh jab locks: You can actually use his side for jab locks, up to around 3 charges on how your opponent misses their tech. You can replace your first jab with his snap, then do a normal jab for the second bounce. You could also use a second snap after the first to restand and add another orb. Two snaps can be useful incase people are just holding shield

This character is so fun. I know many people say this about pretty much every new dlc, but I genuinely believe that this character will be in like high tier. I think his winged formed is a better arsene in many ways. The both have their draw backs. I love his nair and side b and both are insanely good if you ask me. I’ve said this about most of the dlc and I’ve only kept to this with joker, kinda min min, and not really but also kinda Steve, but I don’t see myself not using this guy at least semi seriously... One thing that’s sort of notable is that Sephiroth can jab lock using Shadow Flare, which can have some nice utility if you get the timing for it down

Side b can actually jab lock, so while he might not have the best jab lock punishes, he can stack shadow flares for a better punish later

Sephiroth the combo god

Sephiroth does have another jab lock combo FYI. His side b hits somewhat low and has a short animation. You can jab lock with shadow flare and finish with tipper dsmash, so you get some nice damage and you get 2 orbs circling around the opponent.

One wing changes EVERYTHING With the 3rd jump you can do some insane octa chains off the nairs fair

Holy stuff that nair is amazing in his combo game

You can use side special to jab lock so you can use a smash attack to punish

Oh yeah this dude is hella cool and the side b will definitely revamp his game soon

Here's a possible concept, unsure if it's true: Side B -> short hop nair -> short hop nair -> down grab -> forward air -> shadow flare hits -> octaslash maybe????
