It's been just about a year to the day that I shipped these 88 Pokemon cards off to PSA for grading, and they're finally back! This is my biggest PSA return ever and it did not disappoint!

I honestly can't tell you how refreshing it is to watch a return video that A) isn't just a bunch of Base Set cards and B) are happy with high grades instead of being disappointed in not getting all 10's. Bravo.

I completely agree. I don't see why many people want just 10 grades and sell the ones that are 9 and below. I have a goal one day to get some cards graded, and I know some won't get 10 grades. But that's alright, because it's the meaning behind the cards to me that matters most.

Insane how easy psa graded your sub. So many issues on many of those 9s.. if only I could get that lucky 😅 Great sub though.

Psa is clearly way harsher these days. I tried to pick up a psa 10 raichu base with a 20-something million serial number, and it honestly looked like a psa 8. 100% authentic, but had whitening on each corner and was off centered top to bottom. Those modern v cards have issues with the etching that you can't really see just by looking at them. Just because the corners are nice and round doesn't mean the card is perfect. Great video BTW lol

The ex cards have such bomb colors. Darker shades on the art work complimented by lighter shades on the rest of the card.

its really easy to get psa 10s with Japanese cards, their quality control was much better. Evolutions did not generally have a good print run, the quality was overall terrible. Most people who sent evolutions in got 8s and 9s, even some 7s, the Full Arts were usually good tho.

Congratulations on this return ! I wish I was as hard into the hobby back when this era was released as I am now, but that’s probably me and 90% of all collectors in this hobby, and that’s what makes these so special.
