Hi ladies and gents! I’m so excited to share my natural hair journey with you all! I believe I transitioned for seven months and big chopped in April of 2015. This is my growth since then and I also wanted to show my transitioning stages as well. Hope you all enjoy! If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them below!

The Gowdy Girls happens to the best of us. my hair reached a plato last year but has reverted to growing this year which is strange since this has been my most stressful year and i barely had time to care for it. less conditioning and moisturizing but it came through for me. now trying to work out a game plan to reach my hair goals.

Juschillinxa_•• I think she meant plateau. That means state of little or no change like stagnant. You can use it to describe anything that has stopped progressing.

Im 12 years old and im on my dads account. I stopped relaxing my hair at september so ive been transitioning for 11 months and after the 4 of july is over im about to do the big chop. So pray for me because im kind of nervous

I'm 12 too and I stopped relaxing December I cut my hair in April and now my hair is her length when it was 2016 I have good genetics in my family so that's probably why

I absolutely LOVE your channel! I've been natural my whole life but suffered from heat damage and I recently cut all my heat damage off in April of 2016. Right now I'm really trying to relearn how to work with my hair and what styles to do to it to help it grow and be thick and healthy. This video really helped me and I feel stronger now just seeing your hair progress throughout the past year. You gave me a lot more patience just learning about your journey. Thankyou so much!! 😊

Thats not 1 year growth but 1 year and 7 months growth .you chopped your hair with 7 months .and start telling by 1 month again

I grew my hair out for six months, then cut the relaxed hair off but... I also took 2 or 3 inches of the natural hair with it. Just to assure any processed or damaged hair was gone. I left 2 inches of natural hair and I called that the beginning of my natural hair journey. So, I feel her

I've been forced to get relaxers for all my life and idek how my natural hair looks or the curl pattern. About 2 weeks ago I decide to go natural but right now I got box braids in and it's already been a month without a perm, almost two. 14 years old btw

Yaayyy!! Honestly if I could've gone natural earlier I would. It was the best decision I ever made for myself while I was in my teens. My mom stopped doing my hair and it was so damaged! I hope you decide to continue on the natural journey!

What kind of hair products do u use. Cause when I was little my mom would always put perms in my head. And after that last perm I got I decided to go natural. But I’ve been natural going on two years now and my hair is the same length it was when I first got it cut. And it is about the same length as your when u first got it cut.
