My heart goes out to you.. Me and hubby had tried a for a few years.. due to PCOS i was rarely ovulating, been taking Metformin to help regulate that.. finally got a positive in Sept 2018! Unfortunately soon after had a MC.. back to square one.. but just 2 weeks ago we got another positive! Had a 6week apt today and saw a heart beat! Hoping this bean sticks! It’s a vicious, exhausting cycle waiting for a positive ovulation, getting to business, the two week wait and having symptoms just to be let down by a period... sending a lot of love to you guys hoping you get that baby dust you need soon..💜🤞🏻

Amy Duque hey I know that it can seem weird of me asking this but I have been txt for 13 months and my doctor diagnosed me with PCOS but I have a period every month like clock work and I was wondering if I should ask about metformin since I may not be ovulating. If you would rather email me your answer my email is baileegalathe89@gmail.com

I have severe endometriosis and i have had 5 laparoscopic surgeries. I have a 4 year old and Im now pregnant with my 2nd. I have been told by multiple specialists that having the surgery can make you more fertile and for me it definitely helped me fall pregnant. Sending positive vibes and i really hope it happens soon for you😊

I feel your pain in every word you say. I tried for 13 months and lost three babies in that time, one at 11 weeks and two others early on. It was heartbreaking. I fell pregnant on the 13th month the month that I had given up and now my son is 6 months old and such a blessing. Please don't ever give up your time is coming ❤️

I admit I have avoided watching these as I know how heartbreaking it is and I couldn’t bare to watch. But I did. My heart breaks for you so much. I remember all those symptoms that gave me so much hope and then the disappointment. I know nothing I can say will make you feel better and everyone has an opinion. Just know when you take the pressure off (because it should be fun) and you learn to relax, it will happen. My situation was different. I was on the ivf for 3 years and was about to give up. I went on holiday and took a break from all the cycle tracking and drugs and it finally happened. I had 1 in a million chance. I will be praying 🙏🏻 for you my dear. It will happen . Lots of love to you x

I am only 17 so obviously I have never been through any of this so I can’t imagine how you must be feeling. I had the procedure done last week where they flush the dye through.. I’m generally pretty good with pain, but it was quite painful for me. However, I 100% recommend you do it. It’s so informative. We have an appointment with the specialist in Melbourne next week to get final results, but the doctors that did the procedure said it looks as though my right tube is blocked. I have only had 5 periods in my life, so it’s so confusing with timing and if I’m ever ovulating.. but I start medication next week! We’ve been “not not trying” since 2015 with no luck, and have been getting help since January this year. We did two rounds of clomid in 2017 with no luck, and we decided to stop because it was so hard on me mentally. If you ever want to chat, please contact me! I feel every bit of your pain love, I’m right there with you xx

yes i was just writing the same thing about the dye procedure and that i would recommend it. i tried for 3 years to get pregnant and then i did the dye test and one of my tubes were twisted and the next round i got pregnant. i swear to this day that it was the dye procedure that help get me pregnant. Good luck i hope it works out for you

I love those clear blue digital ovulation tests! They honestly were such a handy tool for me. also, I only ever had ovulation pain on my right side. I know exactly how you feel Crystal. My Husband & I tried for 3 years before we went to a specialist. I had all the tests done and so did he and everything was fine. We got put in the “unexplained infertility” category which is so frustrating in itself. When everyone once around you + social media is just babies babies babies it’s gut wrenching. We did 3 IUI’s which failed before we did IVF and finally got our positive. Everyday is a step closer to getting your little one. Sending you all the love & luck in the world and I promise it will happen soon 😘😘

My partner and I have been TTC for the last 17months after being on the pill for 10yrs. At the 12 month mark we confirmed there was nothing wrong fertility wise with myself or my partner. This I think makes it harder knowing that there is no reason to not be falling pregnant. I remember going through the same symptom spotting that you have gone through. I ovulate every month because my body tells me that I have with CM changes and ovulation pains then followed by sore breasts/hot flushes etc. Since seeing a gynaecologist I have been seeing someone who specialises in traditional Chinese Medicine. They have indicated that a lot of these post ovulation symptoms can be associated with high estrogen and low progesterone. Although on a blood test on CD 21 I have results that indicate I’ve ovulated I still have spotting before my period indicating my progesterone is too low to maintain a pregnancy. It’s so difficult I find myself knowing this but not wanting to take more medication to affect my hormones as the pill has negatively affected my hormones for 10yrs. Symptoms of low progesterone or PMS is why I went on the pill so I’m silly to think that this problems I’ve masked for the past 10yrs can be fixed so quickly. Everyone I know is pregnant or having children so that does suck. However from what I’ve learnt about myself and my body I’m grateful for all the self development and I know it will happen one day for me! This is something that isn’t spoken about enough and our fertility is affected by much more than what we are aware of. You are so brave to share your story publicly! You are not alone in this! X

Girl! My body lies to me every month as well! Every month I get the same symptoms but when 1 symptom is different I think I’m pregnant. I read online threads and see that a lot of women experience the same symptoms and then get a BFP. Naturally, I start believing I’m pregnant too but then nothing. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey darl, I've only just built up the courage to comment on your video. I was on the pill for about 6 or 7 months, and when I went off of it my partner and I were ttc, every day I would wake up and my body would make me think I have symptoms, when I didn't, because I wanted it so bad. It's funny how a mind works like that hey. I have had irregular periods my whole life, I got diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15, got checked again last year for it and it came back as negative. I know it's not long, but after 3 months of ttc I went to the doctors wanting to get tested again for PCOS as I thought something wasn't right, and getting tested while on the pill can have impact on the results. I was really down in the dumps that I hadn't gotten pregnant after only 3 months of trying. It turned out that docs appointment was me at 4 weeks pregnant, and currently am 20 weeks. I know what it's like for all these feelings and thoughts to consume your life, but honestly when you stop thinking about it every day, is when it happens, from my experience. I love this series so much, and I'm hoping the best for you guys, I really want this for you. I know it's hard, to see all these people who don't deserve to be a mum, just popping out kids left right and centre, and other people just having so much luck with it all when they haven't tried for long. It really sucks, and I know you hate people saying it but your day will come, each day is a step closer to you getting that positive. Stay strong darl, things will happen when they're meant to. xx

I was on the pill for 7 years, it’s been over 2 years since we started TTC’ing. It’s hard, I feel all those emotions. But I know I have PCOS and Endo, the hardest part was going to get those tests and surgery done but it made a world of a difference to know that there’s a reason. We’ve gone through 3 miscarriages, 4 failed fertility treatments, into another IUI then to IVF. It sucks when you see all these people get pregnant right away or not even try when it’s all you want, I know that feeling all too well. Every month I have “symptoms” of pregnancy but in reality, they’re just period symptoms and hormones. The symptoms for pregnancy and your period coming are so extremely similar the only distinct difference is a late period. I’ve learnt not to look into those anymore, it’s still hard not too though. Getting more tests, as crap as it is to hear results, takes a huge weight off just knowing. Then the planning can really start and adjust it for you specifically. Hang it there xx

I have a similar story. We have been trying for nearly 8 years. I've had multiple induction rounds, 1 IVF cycle and I'm now in the middle of my third miscarriage. I just read 'Is your body baby friendly?' and am seeing a reproductive immunologist next month. Dr Beer's approach to infertility and pregnancy loss relating to immunology is giving me new hope. It may be helpful to you too. All the best xx

I have been praying for you since I started watching your story. I never had problems getting pregnant but I did miscarry twin boys. That was when we found out so many of our friends have had issues even getting pregnant. My nurse for my miscarriage lost 7 babies. She never carried a baby to term. My heart broke for her and anyone in her situation who has had problems conceiving. I still want my rainbow baby but I don't think I will ever get it. My husband is against having another one because I have bad health issues when pregnant. So I pray you are pregnant in the next few months. I pray God blesses you with a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby! And never be embarrassed or ashamed of your sadness or happiness. You have the right to feel both.

i tried for almost 3 years until i had my first. I have PCOS so i never ovulate. My gyno started me on clomid (a fertility drug) and month after month i was getting negative results. I decided to change doctors and she sent me for the dye test. it wasnt a surgery they did the dye using an internal ultrasound and put the dye through. They discovered that one of my tubes were twisted and they fixed it. i then went on to have 1 round of fertility drugs through injections and did IUI (where they inject the sperm straight into the tubes) and 2 weeks later i was pregnant. I honestly think it was that dye test that help me get pregnant. I have all my fingers crossed for you and Dean and i hope you end up with a positive result x

I know how you feel in regards to having to see people be pregnant and have babies when that’s not happening for you, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I miscarried in October last year, and ever since I always wonder, why can’t I have a baby, why did I have something taken away from me so unfairly like that. It sucks to see people who don’t deserve it having their second or third babies, people who are on drugs, homeless, always drinking, people who can hardly look after themselves and THATS what I don’t like to see but I look forward to your videos and your progress and I know you’re deserving of falling pregnant so just know that if you do end up conceiving, myself and many others will be so excited and happy for you and I know I will look forward to seeing your journey unfold. I’ve had 3 MC one death after birth and now have my little boy born 1/11/18. I’ve literally been pregnant for 5 years straight various stages and loss. I can empathise with your journey and how taxing it it is on your overall wellbeing and relationship. I had drs prescribe so many drugs etc and I really had to listen to my body and actually ended up going completely back to basics with health no processed foods, natural as much as possible with everything and it helped so much regulated periods and also looked into other resources that I believe helped so much. If I can link you with some resources I would love to. Your journey to becoming parents will come whether that be naturally or whatever way it happens it won’t matter you will become parents. I waited 12 long years before I fell pregnant. People kept telling me over and over it will happen when it’s supposed to. 12 years later we moved back to Australia from America and within 3 months I became pregnant while trying to get my referral for IVF. There is always hope. Never give up hope and have faith. I waited and waited while all my friends along the years all had their babies but my baby will be born this year and I’m 37. Your videos really hit home and they are so heartbreaking 💔 I never thought I would get pregnant it took over a year and a half, lots of watching my friends get pregnant, baby showers and lots of tears. We got there in the end and now have our beautiful daughter but the crazy thing is that my partner and I had done every single test (which had come back normal), tried letrozole and were looking into doing IUI. But I started doing some of my own research and found a link between gluten and infertility. I cut out gluten and within 2 months I was pregnant (I miscarried) it was absolutely devastating. But then 2 months later I got pregnant again and had a wonderful pregnancy. I wish I had of known about the gluten and infertility link sooner though. Would have saved me a lot of heartache 💔 thank you for being so brave and sharing your ttc journey xx

My heart breaks for you and goes out to you! I know exactly what you are going through and I am crossing my fingers and toes for you! It is really hard and some days are absolute torture but then there are those days that are a bit easier. The great thing is if you have support around you, I feel if it wasn’t for my partner I would be in a bad way but I thank my lucky stars that I have him for support. My worst enemy is google, all I do is google symptoms and it’s gets the best of me but it is really hard especially in the TWW. I am here if you ever need, you are a beautiful person inside and out and you deserve the world! Sending you nothing but absolute goodluck and positivity! 💕

I've been trying for 2 years now but managed to get pregnant twice and miscarried both times. All I want so badly is to be a mum and getting pregnant really brought those emotions out, its such a hard journey and I really hope we can both get there in the end and the same to anyone else having the same struggles

I feel your pain! 12 cycles ttc. My cycles are normal and according to LH strips I am ovulating regularly but still no luck. Hubby and I are going to get tested soon. It’s so frustrating. And there are reminders everywhere. Now I’m just watching videos of others who can relate 🙁

Hi Crystal, it’s taken me awhile to get the courage to send u this message but here goes....my name is Heidi and I’m 35 and have decided I’m not going to be a mum. My body has been through a lot, I have had 3 teratoma tumours the first at age 7 then 29 then 32. The tumours have taken my left Fallopian tube, a massive cyst on my right ovary, my appendix, my tailbone and parts of my sacrum, loss of sensation in my legs due to spinal stenosis, endometriosis and adenomyosis scar tissue that completely covers my lady parts and because my first tumour at age 7 was around my lady parts and it was before I hit puberty my ovaries and only tube are stretched up past my pelvis. So as me and my husband were TTC around when I was 28 little did we know what was headed our way. Ur series of TTC has brought me back to that age and everything we went through before tumour number 2 hit. After 2 laparoscopic surgeries and the die up the fallopian tube test a scan showed the tumour in my left tube. So after this tumour removal the gynaecologist said yer there is no way u could conceive naturally u will have to do IVF. When he said this to me I was so upset, he told me go lose 25kg so I lost 45kg and he would get me pregnant, this was way before knowing the tumour was there mind u. I did everything I could so my body was in the best shape to have a baby, but no my body doesn’t want that. And that’s where I said to my husband I’m not letting my body decide weather or not I’m having a baby. So I processed heaps of things, the positives the negatives everything. And it hit me, NO I’m ok I don’t need to be a mum to feel like I have accomplished life and given life. Trust me it took me ages to be at peace with my decision but I totally am. My husband has a 15yr old daughter from a previous relationship, so that helped me with not feeling guilty that I couldn’t give him a child. He has asked me if I have changed my mind once and I said he doesn’t need to check in with asking ever again as we both feel too old to have kids now and especially since my 3rd tumour I’m unable to work or do most things any more. I’m just happy I made the decision based on what I wanted not my body was telling me, if u want a baby more then anything go do everything u can IUI IVF do it all. My fingers and toes r crossed for u both, much love to u xxx

It is crazy how much I've had those same thoughts as you. Especially when we hit the one year mark. By the way I was only on the pill for just over a year before we tried and I'm still trying at cycle #15. And I've seen people on the pill 10years who got pregnant straight away after going off it. I admit to unfollowing everyone on Facebook who has kids or is pregnant. I hate it, but I have to get by somehow and the depression from it was getting debilitating.

I have been trying for a year and five months. I know exactly what you are going through. I am constantly seeing pregnancy announcements from friends, billboards etc. (I actually saw a gender reveal marquee today on the way to the doctor.) I found out a coworker was pregnant last year and when she announced to me I could hear my heart break because she didn't even want the baby. I spent the whole day crying that day at work. I honestly don't know what to do now -.-

aww crystal you could literally be telling my ttc story. it's so similar. every month I was getting all the symptoms you are getting my hopes up. Those wee test strips you have are terrible, I used them and I thought I had a positive result before, got so excited etc. only to do a first response and it was negative. when I looked at the reviews of the strips on Ebay it turned out loads of people had the same issue. I was ttc for around 18 months, my husband and I had a series of tests etc. and we'd just been told his semen analysis results were poor and we'd be eligible for IVF and were devastated. two weeks later we found out I was pregnant. was strange though as this was the first month I had no symptoms at all after ovulation. Don't give up hope, I'm really praying it turns out how u so desperately want it to, lots of love x

Sending you all my love, been trying since September last year and currently in my high fertility stage so I know the dreaded two week wait is coming. I hate the waiting because I over analyse my symptoms too and it’s hard to distinguish between pregnancy and period when they’re all so similar and being on the pill previously a lot of those symptoms were masked, it doesn’t help when I log symptoms into a fertility app and it says that such and such percentage of people said they had this and it’s a common pregnancy symptom. Like I’ve never had acid reflux in my life but a few days from getting my period I get it every few cycles and I try so hard not to get my hopes up but there’s always part of me deep down that prays I’m pregnant. Still waiting to fall pregnant and this series has helped so much because all my friends got pregnant first time or second time so there’s no one I can talk to or relate with 💕

Saw raw, so real and so absolutely true in every aspect. My life was consumed as well with charts and temp checking and cm checking and charting and calendars and timers and hope and hate and tears and obsession and countless peeing on sticks in shops and home and public toilets and endless blood tests and waiting and dreaming and heartache. You are NOT alone. Xx

Oh, honey...I know EXACTLY what this feels like. I felt like I was going IN-SANE with ovulation tracking, trying to time sex, researching all the forums and message boards for anything that might help...finally went to a fertility center. They ran a whole gamut of tests, including semen analysis, and while some issues were found with my thyroid and a polyp was found in my uterus, the BIGGEST issue we found was my husband's sperm was way below what it should be. Mobility, shape, count. ALL of it. So, now he's going to be seeing a urologist to get to the bottom of what could be causing this. It's SO so hard dealing with this. We're in the thick of it, knowing that it's been 3+ years, and still NOTHING. And there's a very real possibility that it might not happen at all. It's heartbreaking. It's devastating, and it totally totally sucks.

It breaks my heart watching these videos week to week, I cried each time without fail because I know what it’s like to be in that situation. Side note - I’m no medical professional by any means whatsoever - is it possible that you have a short luteal phase?
