Happy locaversary!! Our hair is so similar! I just had my 1st locaversary too on the 18th💕. I plan on doing a video next week after my retie. My edges are shorter than yours so I still suffer from slippage since they’re also soft & fine. I’m pleased with my journey thus far, looking forward to 1 1/2 - 2 yr mark. Happy Locaversary! Your hair looks beautiful! I’m going on 8 months and I also started with 7.5 in, but the shrinkage is so real. My crown is still pretty thin but filling in slowly. Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m 2 weeks into my lock journey and some of these last few days I’m like what did I do? My hair is short and so thin/fine/curly so I feel like a plucked chicken most times. But I’m believing for my hair to grow and the super thin spot in the crown to fill in. Thanks for sharing.
I got mines May 25th 2021..It took 6 days/50 hours and we didnt really have any breaks. My hair is THICK! I'm trusting the process can't wait to see what they'll look like on my anniversary

I hit my one year a week ago as well. Your hair looks amazing. My hair started locking in six months but then..... bunching and super frizz. I have to braid it at night to prevent the bunch. Well that bunch steal length. Jelly how long yours is looking 🤩
Beautiful progress!! 🙏🏽New subbie here💗 I binged a lot of your videos 😆 what’s your personal opinion on someone with seborrheic dermatitis getting sisterlocs? Since oils on the scalp aren’t recommended for locs. Any ideas?
You can start by spritzing once or twice a week. If your locks are brand new, I wouldn’t do it often, because the moisture can cause unravelling. As your locs mature you’ll be able to add more moisture to your hair routine. Not gonna lie, starting out, my hair was DRY!! But I added water or rose water a couple times a week and it held up.

Sorry about the late reply. It depends on her experience and how long your hair is. Especially with her being a brand ambassador. My loctician for my install was a trainee, but she did a great job.
