Brilliantly summed up. Live the life you want, not the life you want to escape from. Made me cry and I'm 15 years clean from drugs. Still like a tipple on rare occasions but your story will inspire many ❤
Hi mate, just watched your 1 year sober video. Congrats fella, relatable and inspirational. I am on a very similar journey to you, I am 42 now started as a teen and spent years getting wasted going to raves, Dj’ing etc and have now chosen a sober life and putting my family, and kids first. Following your journey has helped me, thank you and much love to you and your family.
What an amazing way to celebrate 1 year sober Dan! You often say on your podcasts that you wonder what your daughters will say when they grow up and watch your podcasts, well make sure they watch this video first to see how far you’ve come in 1 year - such a proud moment. I’m 285 days sober and feel like I’ve been on the journey with you. Your podcasts have helped me so much, and your introduction of sober Dave to me has also been a massive inspiration. You are helping so many other people out there, please keep it coming! I’ll see you on your tour in April. Stay strong brother! 🙏❤️
I never liked you much before sorry hun, but I think your bloody great now 😂😊 Massive congrats on 1 year sober 🎉 your family must be soo proud! Keep up the fab work with the channel and stay good. I myself am 3.5 years sober, my old man joined me 6 months after. I'm full of regret of our wasted drunken life together and what we put our daughter through but we're here now and stronger than ever after 28 years. I NEVER thought one of us would be sober, let alone us both. It's amazing. And possible people! Join us ❤
congratulations Dan I have been following your journey and I'm literally 2 weeks sober looking forward to feeling what your feeling right now keep it up bro 👍 EDIT Jesus the video is such a good example of addiction finally a video to show non believers what it's really like
Dan, I’m 1 year sober on Friday 28th October this year (6 days away) after a bad relapse where I drank morning, noon and night for over a week after 10 months sobriety. I’ve watched you all the way through your journey and have loved watching you develop as a person. I feel like I’ve done it with you. Thanks so much for everything you do
When I stopped drinking it was always what I thought I was missing. Now to start drinking would be the things I would miss because I’m drinking. Over 4 years sober, And tell the younger people to watch your journey. Congrats my friend 🎉
I seen you on a clip on the shorts saying you was like 38 days sober or around that an I instantly followed M2S an followed ever since, congrats on the 1 year man big big achievement Keep doing what you’re doing.

Alcoholism is a slow death, amazing story mate, you should be very proud of finding who you always were,I’m at 522 days sober,I’ve got my life back and health and I can remember my days ,the times I spend with my little girl are precious and I’m a friendly outgoing person again after too long abusing alcohol. Dan, Alcoholism is one of the only debilitations that when we overcome it - we come out the other side even better than we were before. You're clearly a great man who helps a lot of people - and you've found your calling. As someone who is celebrating 1 year sober later this month, too - I thank you for your words of support from afar. Bless you, bro.
Congratulations Dan, well done 👏. I've just passed 100 days, your videos and podcasts have played a massive part in inspiring me to start and continue the sober journey. Thank you so much.
Many congratulations to you Dan, a big thing to overcome, it speaks volumes for your character how you’re using your platform to help others, one of the best podcasts out there!!!
Oh my god! This is such a great story & 1 year is a long time my man, congrats. Sorry I've just realised who the fella working you on the pads at the end is? I was on a building site with him last week up in Surrey! Mate he was so nice to talk to, proper polite he made my morning top bloke! Small world! Well done, keep working hard x
You're doing so much for so many, but more importantly, you're doing the most for yourself and your family. I can only imagine how proud they are of you. I'm proud of you! Well done. Here's to today ❤

Congrats Dan. Coming up to 6 months sober here myself, look forward to the weekly videos and I think they are a massive help to everybody on similar journeys.
Keep on keeping on my fellow. It is truly amazing that at one day at a time you get a life, instead of a sad existence. I’m just over 11 years and it’s a gift that keeps on giving. Stick with the winners. 👍🙏
Started watching this not knowing who you were and when i realised you "Were" Dapper Laughs I was shook. You rightly should be so proud and pleased with who you have become. This is so inspirational not gonna lie. Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Hope to join you one day. AMAZING
