Had my oneblade for close to a year now. Still on original blade (I do have 2 replacements I got with their coupon code that came with my original razor). But, the original blade just keeps going. Super easy and fast. Not quite manual razor close, but that close shave only lasts a few hours anyways. This works great, no irritation. I hope they make these for the rest of my life.
If i am trying to get a close shave on a certain day would this be good to start with and finish with a Gillette? Or would it be too irritating on the skin?
@lunatic2178 Would for sure work. This causes me zero irritation. So if you had longer hair that would be hard to shave with a razor this would be great to trim it short first. They also have trim guard attachments if you wanted to be 100% sure of no irritation to cut the hair short but not to the skin.
@@AmonnRa I haven't. I've been using the OneBlade for 1.5 years now. Haven't tried anything else. I also got rid of my beard & mustache trimmer. I only need a #5, that's all I use. So I got an attachment for the OneBlade. It is my single thing that does all my face shaving needs. My first blade still hasn't worn out. I switched to a new blade after like a year just for fun, but kept the original still since it is working just the same as the new one!
Have you try to prepare your skin before shaving and improve your technique? Sometimes it's true skin can be sensitive(i have) but mostly depends the general approach.
They work good, I have one too, but absolutely hate the planned obsolescence built into the blades. They swivel over a thin plastic piece, which now has broken several times for me. At 10€ a pop here, I am now switching to something more durable.
Just shaved with it like 10 min ago. It’s ok but It doesn’t as close as a wet shave. Idk how I feel about yet. It’s quick and easy but it doesn’t get all the spots like a de razor.
@Brian-pc5xe I returned mine to the store after 1 week! The wear indicator on the blade was already showing and the replacement blades were very expensive. I went with a phillips norelco rotary shaver and haven't looked back
