Edit: Was so tired filming this that I had a bit of a mix up with the oneplus 7 pro used in this test. This is the 12GB RAM model, NOT THE 8GB RAM model - although results in almost all tests should be similar. Will make sure it doesn't happen again!

ikr, Exynos and Snapdragon have always been fairly similar, Exynos even having a slight advantage most of the time. But I bought a Galaxy phone for the first time and it had to be the year where the Exynos is far behind every other cpu...

Soo because the Exynos is like 0.2 seconde slower in real world usage like opening an app. Or has 45 fps instead of 40 fps like the SD it is bad? Fuck me you guys are spoiled as fuck. I am a happy Exynos S10+ user. Never have I thought, damn! This phone is sluggish. In fact, I owned the S7Edge and Note 4 and this this is crazy smooth compared to those two. Even when they were new. In the end, I buy a Samsung for their Displays, Software features, 2 year hassle free warranty, battery performance, audio Jack, duel sim and/or SD card support and design. Not because of what chip it uses. As long as it's fast enough I could not care less about what chipset it uses. These days they are all great. Even midrange phones with mid range chips perform just fine. So a top of the line chip that might not be THE best is still FAR above what most need. And I use my Phone A LOT!
The problem is that he always trying to protect the p30 pro...He is talking for thermal throttling in antutu and he does the test different days same hour and I am saying that because when one plus 7 and s10 plus clock time says 14.02 on both off them the p30 pro 14.01...When time is 14.09 the three of them have the same hour and when the clock hits 14.18 on both s10 plus and one plus 7 pro the time on p30 pro says 14.17 and goes to 14.18 after 5 seconds.Time is always the same on any android device..Why he doesn't has the phones one next to the other and perform the test without all these effects...And something last go to his last video with the battery drain and see by yourself the thermal throttling on p30 pro and make you own decisions...
You have seen the iPhone kill the OP by 10 seconds on C4ETEC This is just another stacked OP test he used the special mode to kill all processes on the phone, Huawei and Samsung don't have such a thing. In his battery test the OP only scored 340k on Antutu in actual use, so these are all obviously from cold.

What do you mean by " we are still waiting for the comparisons between exynos and snapdragon"? Check out garry explains for the great, most realistic and truthful speedtest g or phonebuff. Phonebuff has done both speedtest (not as good as speedtest g) and battery test. Many videos have already been made and it has been established that snapdragon is better than exynos in terms of power as well as efficiency.
Yeah, a lot of people really don't realise that the difference is actually quite significant. Not only does the exynos version drain more battery and throttle more but the main camera sensor is actually different. The exynos version uses a samsung isocell one, while the sd855 version uses sony imx and actually takes better pictures
Also according to my brother who went through the trouble of importing the snapdragon version after comparing it with the exynos one, the exynos version had some sort of issue with the display crushing the blacks a lot more.
The reason OnePlus is reloading is because it has a battery saver which closes apps that are using alot of battery and this setting could be turned off No lag in RAM
9:09 - Nope, you didn't test that yet. Use a real PC with an SSD, proper USB 3.1 port, and cable. THEN transfer a 50GB file to each phone. The results will be radically different. The OnePlus is like an order of magnitude faster. Also, you forgot to test recharge speed. OnePlus can do 0% - 50% charge in ~20 minutes. Leagues ahead.

@James7851 Don't think that would be indicative of what most people would be using, considering the Snapdragon version is mostly available in the US and most of the other countries would get the Exynos version.
@@drunklofii833 Its not that much lmao, those performance tests have little to do with your everyday use. The exynos chip still provides you with a buttery smooth experience regardless of it being slightly slower than a snapdragon 855.
The Huawei P30 Pro's performance is quite impressive considering the fact that it's using a year old chip. I'm really looking forward to see what the Kirin 990 is going to be able to pull off in the Mate 30 Pro.
Look. Don't look at these opening and closing apps speed test. That doesn't really tell us anything about how an app or a game performs once it start running. Watch Gary explains speedtest instead...and you'll see Huawei's gpu is significantly slower than the competition. Their cpu is about equal.

I'm not being biased to Huawei p30 pro, I like all 3 manufacturers, and yes 7 pro does beat the others in certain areas but the p30 pro beats the other 2 in areas that is very surprising and on paper shouldn't.
I just want to point out that the P30 Pro as well as other flagship Huawei phones have an NPU which optimises the phone's performance to better suit the user's specific performance requirements and battery optimisation. So app performance and battery will get better over time. Ive noticeably felt this first hand in my Mate 20 Pro after about a week which was probably one of the more mind blowing experiences with this phone.
90 Hz is just a must have, it's like playing on a 144 hz monitor then switching back to a 60 hz. You never want to go back once you experience that fluidity.
@Peter Russell It's more visually pleasing to my eyes, but maybe I just pick up on it more than you 🤷♂️. I also like tech a lot though and that's also why I like my displays to be crisper. I understand that not applications can run at 90hz but the ones that do are much more fluid. Also oxygen os is pretty great imo. It's much better optimized than stock android and more usable.
I've just bought the P30 Pro 8GB Aaron, had iPhone XS Max before. Finding P30 Pro faster than XS Max, signal strength amazingly better, loads things faster and as for the camera, just wow! Thanks for the comparison. 👍

*Your test comparing applications in memory is incorrect.* Some apps show the same screen as you left them and then reload. Since you did no interaction with these applications your results aren't representing reality.

Arun, you have a massive following now and should be important enough to Samsung that they provide you with Snapdragon-equipped phones too. I know Exynos is used everywhere except for the US, but the US is a very large market indeed. Since the Exynos and Snapdragon variants are giving different results these days, you should use both to compare to rivals such as Huawei P30 Pro and OnePlus 7 Plus. Thanks.
