What I'm saying is life is easier when I focus on the positive and valuable attributes of people. Focusing on someone's negative attributes only brings me down. -Trent
I wish I could have found a way to bring the esprit de corps, pride, and professionalism to the civilian EMS world over the last 30 years. PJs specifically, and AFSpecWar are incredible.
Aaron, you are an inspiration for having patience as a virtue as illustrated by your commitment to try again after a long period of waiting to cross-train. This is something I need to remember everyday. I am pretty far off physically from where I want to be to test for a career in AFSPECWAR but I get frustrated that it is taking many days and months of training to get to that point where I feel confident in my physical abilities. I need patience in the fact that I have decided to pursue this coming from a place of below average physicality and realize it will take time and patience in my training and timeline. I still have a few years of eligibility left and need to take everyday as it comes to me and not expect to be able to do 100 pushups after one day or even one month of training. Thanks for passing along these values and helping me reach my goals in a patient manner.
@@OnesReady We all should aspire to achieve the heights of that Silva Lining 😂🤪 and I believe the words of Mr. Trey Free of the 724th were you have to be “too dumb to quit!” 👍🏻
Really enjoyed your podcast; been listening to it as the Air Force decided to quarantine me for a month because of COVID haha. I was wondering if you all could talk on the changes AFSOC is making. Lt. Gen. Slife just announced recently how AFSOC (and the special operations community in general) will be moving from being supported by conventional forces in the GWOT, to being the ones who are going to support conventional forces as we move towards focusing on peer adversaries. I'm at pilot training and they have also made changes to training because of this shift in focus towards peer adversaries. I'm just curious if you could expand on that focus change within AFSOC, as you have talked about how changes are being made within the training and the career fields. Thanks!
Hey fellas! Just wondering if y’all had heard anything about Prior Service getting to go to SW Prep before A&S. Last I heard from the podcast a couple months ago is that is still a No-Go but hoping there was a change. Thanks!
@@OnesReady I hope so too. It would be amazingly beneficial to me and others who have been out of service for 10+ years and greatly improve our shot at getting selected.
Basic dude stuff talk brilliant great episode lots of little nuggets of great advice and entertaining to boot 😇😈😎💪👀👂and best of all just the two of you lol
100% a misconception. All the career fields hav their apprentice courses at the end of their pipeline, and those courses (CCS, The Pararescue Apprentice course, and the SR apprentice course) are no joke. You’re never ‘done’ with challenges.
Have you guys ever worked with any black pjs or other types of air force sof? I hate to ask but from what ive seen online I have never saw a black person in the training or anything.
Navy ship wrecking your grandpa was Asian he was a blind recon pj original when the highest rank was colonial my father was a sgt then captain came out George Washington coming out with 5 star General Commander and Chief 😂 President
