I've got this one. This is my first e-bike. I regret my choice. The bike is heavy. You can feel that weight. It's hard to keep balance at lower speeds (especially when riding with kids). The app is a nonsense. The battery squeaks on every bump or when you turn the steering wheel (even a bit). I had to put rubber outside of the battery cover to mitigate it. I would look for something lighter (even with a smaller battery).
Hi, i´m looking for a ebike and this model was my first choise. I've been looking after information for long on this chines bikes and always had a feeling that the video reviews are kind of payed by the companies as there's only good rates and not any negative comments on them. could you share more about your experience ? how is going now with your bike? how do you evaluate the customer service? does the bike give a reliable feeling ? how does it work under rain/bad wheather? thanks!
@@MSV-f2f Hi. I've driven 270 kilometers with this bike so far. I got used to the extra weight. The fix for the battery works very well. It is quiet now. The disc breaks start to lose. Two screws holding them just fall off. There's no glue on the threads. You better put the glue yourself. I had to fix it and basically tie all the screws together. In the beginning, you need to put some love on this bike. I decided to keep it anyway. The riding is smooth. The battery consumption is very low (thanks to the tensometric sensor). There is a strange grinding feel that you can slightly feel on the pedals when riding below 10km/h (especially up the hills). This may be the internal gearbox of the hub-motor. When the motor is spinning faster there's no such feeling. I'm 184 cm high. The steering wheel is a bit too low for me. I plan to replace the steering bridge with something that can be regulated and bring the wheel a few centimeters up. This bike was supposed to be used by my wife but she is complaining about the weight. ...I'm avoiding the rain as long as I can. The battery is mounted from the bottom. I hope this prevents water from getting in.
@@tomasz_babiukthank you for your feedback, very helpful. I think i’m going to continue the research among Chinese bikes, i have found fido C11 which seems to be among the must rated but of course not without minor defects.
@@MSV-f2f Check Fiido c21. It weighs 17.5 kg only. The battery seems to be small but with the torque sensor, it can still drive 60 km. I would replace my ot-05 for this one if I had a chance.
