I seen in 1 Video that Pint S are same as Pint X. No different at all The only difference are Pads and Tires. But if you talking about speed. It's the same ( 18 mph Pushback)
I see plenty of pint X's on group rides. I personally think that the pint x will phase out. Why else would they release the pint s firmware? I think pint X owners are good, the pint s is for those who have an OG pint, isn't interested in VESC, or are new to the sport. I think it's a good board at a good price point.... I have a pint v, GTV, and a stock XR... I kind of want a pint s.➖☠️➖🤙🤙
i just checked out prices, you can get a pint x for 1500 if you just buy an X and then the accessories seperately. So your just paying a bit less for a discounted bundle and a paint job
I am scared too i haven’t updated my px ever since because i want to work on my board but if it is true that the firmware makes it like a GT? I might, maybe? But i am scared if it would brick if coming from an older older version and straight to the pints firmware. What are your thoughts?
@@chrislim1043 Shortly after I uploading this video, I decided to update my pint x to the haptic buzz firmware update. Making sure my phone didn't turn off while uploading the update, making sure my wifi was at its strongest and making sure the board was charging at the same-time. My thoughts: it's actually bad, i personally dont hear or feel the buzz that much due to the Wind and Road conditions (condition my vary). I've been reading that for the new firmware up date to work for the Pint S, once updated-the onewheel app would have to be deleted and reinstalled to see any menu change. Another thing I heard was Custom Shaping would arrive at the end of September. The smart move, dont my the Pint S until custom shaping is available or save money by a pint X and receive that firmware update.
I have a pint s and something is up with the firmware, I have custom shaping and the new Gemini 5200, but it is showing digital shaping 2.0 and not 3.0 with a top speed of 18mph
