Tim Zarza they're good looking and add about a half inch total length to the wheelspace which allows for more tire options. It performs the same as the stock rails. There doesn't seem to be any negatives, besides the cost.
@@Grind671 so simply they are the same length so calibraation of were the tail is on power up shouldnt change. but if it did add 1/2" in length [which it dosnt] it shouldnt change powerup calibration because you could power up at a good range of tail angles. cool mod. couldnt open the link
thomas rodier your English is good! I wouldn't have known that English wasn't your first language if you hadn't said so! calibratedpower.com/beast-wheel/beast-wheel-rail-set-696mm.html
hey man just curious if you could link me to the proper size and compound hoosier slick that fits without shaving the tire or changing to the beast rails?
Some people like their tires soft(D10A), some like them hard(D30A). Here's a link to the D20A that's in between. Feel free to switch to whatever hardness you want www.jegs.com/i/Hoosier/522/11600D20A/10002/-1
Hey man. I ordered a pair of those rails today and thought it was kind of odd that calibratedpower.com doesn’t have a number to call to talk to anyone, we’re there any issues with you getting those rails sent to you? My card was charged 5 times for just the one order. I really hope I didn’t get railed over these rails.
The original rails are painted, just ask a garage to sand them using gunsmithing.. you will get a clean polished silver effect and it wouldn't cost you that much ;)
Thanks for the info. I don't plan on switching my rails, but if I did, it would probably be because I want a larger tire and need the extra 1/2" wheel space.
Crew Tube it doesn't seem to be available anymore, I'm not sure. You can also check out ruckus rails which are a couple pounds heavier but made of steel
But all I want to know is .....WHY?🤨🤔 because if the ones that you’ve got originally worked fine and also they were installed by a professional at future motion and since these are just a cosmetic upgrades I don’t think it’s worth 300!!!! Bucks !!! For something that does absolutely NOTHING to the ride quality!!!! It’s purely cosmetic !!!! And also you may have voided your warrantee 🤦♂️😥 and you have UN-zeroed your calibration because you did not installed these things on a flat surface !!!! Everything future motion in stalls on your board or anything is built on a completely flat surface that they paid extra for to have made in their building when they’re building Onewheel’s ...everything future motion installs on your bored or anything is built on a completely flat surface that they paid extra for to have in their building when they’re building Onewheel’s
I actually did this for someone else. People get them for differing reasons: cosmetic, allows for larger wheel size, damaged rails, etc... I've heard the claim that the future motion marketing guys made on the voice of onewheel show, but several thousand onewheels have aftermarket tires without any calibration issues.
