Not sure if you still monitor this video or not but do you have to drain the battery prior to opening/changing the connector for the lights? Just got a new one to replace mine due to the front white lights not working.
May I ask how much more miles do you get from this battery/what are specs of this battery? I've OW Plus with almost dead battery - 3.1 miles of range (185 lbs). I have also a 12s2p 21700 50.4V 311Wh battery from my eskateboard and I want to try the CnR route.
Same thing happened to me when I was cruising at about 10mph in the bike lane. Almost broke my wrist, and smashed my glasses cutting my face open. These are faulty and dangerous. One of the worst products to rely on. I'll never ride one again, and I'll keep speaking up how dangerous they are. Worse, the company is not taking any accountability for the defect, and are doubling down that nothing is wrong. It really sucks, because they are very fun to ride. But when you suddenly lose power and it sends you to injury, it's almost like you've been betrayed.
My sons pint w/ 1k + trouble fee miles had both front and rear LED go out at the same time. I have had it apart to swap the tire so I’m ok w/ disassembly, think this will be the same issue and fix for us? Thanks for doing this
nice video man. I can't wait to try this again. I was doing it 4 days ago without much success. I'm going to try it with bent knees and cranking my front knee in to help the nudge be more sideways than down.
This just happened to me on my Pint. I have four one wheels thousands of miles for the last 6 years and never had an issue. I have 910 miles on this Pint and it was 52% charged. Was going about 10pm and it just shut off. I broke two ribs but still rode home being supper sure of my footing and riding conditions and it did it again. I ran it off bc I was half expecting it. Totally shut off.
crazy that this is that ferrite ring problem lol FM couldnt just do that for us????? lol. Well now I have this info I will fix it when I start badgering soonish.
dude that was sick! I went out to try to learn nudges on my pint the other day, and yeah, it didn't go so well. Had a nasty fall and it made me scared to commit in the process. This helps give me the motivation to go out and try again!
I have not been able to succeed at this except for a handful of times over 2 years. This video breaks it down really well and now I am intent on giving it another good try with my new knowledge. Thanks!
Thanks for the video! That glue was a pain in the a** to get apart. A copper coil has a broke connection in mine. Do you know if I should replace the whole piece or just reconnect the broke connection?
My Pint has done this about 5 times in less than a month. I had 2 bad wrecks on it. Especially last night during Oktoberfest. Really screwed my right arm up as I hit a pole.
Yo this happened to me last evening I was doing 16 1/2 km/h while doing a tour side curve it went into primo after the wheel suddenly stopped. I hit the ground like a sack of hammers. I’ve just spent six hours in the hospital and I have a fractured wrist… I just got this thing less than one month ago.
after 2000 miles and being able to land over 95% of my curb nudges, this is hands down the best and most useful curb nudge turorial. It didnt really make sense at first, but after you land it and it clicks it all makes sense. Ride on brother
