they used to be cheap and lasted for 10 years +++ my last pair lasted me 8 years, make it look like new in Thailand, and i gave them away. TuT) i miss them so much, but basically i only use Tiger! or Trueno! that's a shoe you never hear about! Trueno!

+britesynth Was in Osaka 3 days ago and bought 2 pairs in the Onitsuka store in Shinsaibashi. The construction and the feel is by far superior. Price for shoes 20,000 to 30,000 Jpn yen for made in Japan.

OMG i didnt this pair of nippon made shoes cost 15000 to 20000 yen. I bought 3 pairs for about 3600 yen each in my country. It came with the violet box. Had I known this is that expensive, i would have bought more.

Japanese made stuff tend to be better built than rivals like China or Vietnam. Examples would be, soy sauce, vehicles, livestock. It's always been a quality based country, they're just using it as another reason to buy their stuff. Simple advertising stratedgy
