ONKYO - What It Takes To Be THX Certified 

THX processing and certification does make a HUGE difference in the sound but you'd need to crank up the volume to really feel and hear it. I currently own a TX RZ 1100 9.2 channel Onkyo AV receiver and I can tell you it's an absolute BEAST.... Turn on THX mode and it catapults the movie soundtrack to another level. The sound is BIG, BOLD and POWERFUL.
