With the new Chinese regulations many online ESL teachers are looking for other options to continue teaching online. In this video we go over online teaching companies and how to move forward with these changes. Thank you! I am trying very hard to take all of this in stride, meanwhile I have bills to pay. I appreciate all of the resources you have shared. I feel so NOT together. I need to update my resume, do an intro video and so much more I feel. UGH. I just don't want to do any of it, but no choice. Hii. Thank you for your video. I just subscribed! Its really helping. Ive applied to one of those company and they asked to send a demo lesson. How do you send your demo lesson? Do you record it with your camera or do you open your zoom or other video meeting apps and then record the screen?

Great question! I’d love to cover this in a video! You can record on zoom or use screencastify or QuickTime (Mac computers only) to record your screen. You could also record with your phone👍👍 Depending on where you apply the demo may be different, but if they want an example slide or lesson you can create that in canva! Good luck!!!

It depends on if the company requires a TESOL and I have one linked with International Open Academy below the video that is accredited. VIPKid’s is not accredited

There are still companies making adjustments.They will change your contracts and job titles.In China,we have many loopholes in the law.Otherwise apply to get a PU letter to work here on the ground.Salaries are at 4000USD and above now 😃😃😃.All the best

That's a lie ..I have worked and lived in China 13 years and I am still here . The top end of teaching is around 30k RMB . And the average for working at a Public Or international school is about 20k. LOL ...and I wouldn't suggest coming to Teach in China because Its just not a good working environment anymore. The new laws are just destroying the teaching industry

No. You do need to clear a background check and have a form of identification for most online companies. Share a SS# or EIN

Yes!! I would apply for a company that has curriculum and brings you students. See the list with the descriptions and then get the hang of that.
