Awesome. I think we should give a BIG thank you to John Curl (Now with Parasounds) because he designed the original ML's. Thank you John Curl. No mention was made of him 🤔 I've still got original ML 20.5 and they sound so sweet and looks good too👍 . Nice to see the latest iteration. I wonder if it is Class A. What's the rated Watts?
I have auditioned the prior Mark Levinson No 536. It is well built to last a century and with more dynamic and transparency than the prior reference Model 33 or Model 53. It sounds better than Pass Lab Xs300.
I auditioned a 333 with Martin Logan electrostatic speakers at Take 5 Audio years ago and The soundstage was was similar to the acoustics of the New Haven Colosseum! Very inpressive low level detail and dynamics! I ended up with Krell setup for affordability! Kudos to the best solid state amps in Ct. From the original designers whom put high end on the forefront.
425W into 8-ohms into an old single ended design that is not even a double diferential amp? At this level people will be looking at DartZeal, Boulder, Audionet, Pillium, Soulution and one of the newcomers like a Vitus Audio. Mark Levinson is not even there and they focus more on making car audio now.
The brands that you just mentioned cost a lot more, at least of comparable quality. I have the ML 536 mono blocks and I'm very happy and they cost a lot less than the others. Not to say that the others are not good amplifiers
