We bought this camper in February 2024. It's for my husband and I- kids are grown. We love it. Plenty of room, especially in the bathroom!. The bathroom vent feature has not been an issue for us. The battery disconnect you mentioned- when not camping we NEVER leave the battery on the camper. We have friends whose brand new camper was stolen from a storage facility. My husband locks down everything.
My husband and I just bought this RV over the weekend, and are SO excited to take it out! We previously had a 2022 Heartland Pioneer RD210, and while we really liked that one, we love all the extra space with the slide and 3 extra feet of length. Our 90 lb goldendoodle and our mini doodle will have more room to wrestle inside now lol.
My question was gonna be “Is there another TT with a similar floor plan?” So thanks for this! The only thing I liked about this Jayco is the floor plan. Dislike so many other things! Gonna look yours up now!
I really like this one! Definitely need to add Fajita Friday Fume Fighters to all roof vents. This should be standard on all RVs. How much can that add, really? Also, PLEASE just give me a real queen bed if there's room! Enough with the princess beds already. I would like to remove the sofa and have a desk or counter in its place. That would be a great office away from home. I don't mind the cheapo dinette for just me and my wife, but I think I'd rather have a small table and chairs. Definitely would work better if you had the desk/counter thing. Please put a shade in the bedroom door! Again, how much can that add? The awning is pretty big, but it would be nice to have both doors under it. And the battery disconnect 🤷. Again, how much does that really add? Thanks for another great video Uncle Josh!
I like. As a Fluffy person would like true queen or bigger, but could live with. Would take out dining table and slide Birdcage between seats. Would have to add vent fan.
This is a nice Rv unit a bit longer / heavier then what I have but everything needed nothing wasted. Have you video a super lite 212fb? If not would you include it in your future videos please. Thanks Josh
I cannot understand why they don’t add the window shade since it is already prepped for one. Seriously, how much would that really cost. Same thought about the fan.
Overall, I like this unit. It’s a bit heavy, but very useful. Question I have is why don’t they have the bathroom door open to the sink side instead of the pantry side? It seems to me that would be a much more efficient layout for access and ergonomics. Especially in road mode. How much weight can the front folding 3 step ladder support?
1) I would think for warranty purposes if anything, that manufacturers would provide a weight limit rating on t.v. and brackets to help eliminate damage. 2) Spacious. Are those lounge chairs comfortable? I envision myself relaxing with a glass of whiskey 🥃 on that end table. 3) Agreed. All campers should have vent fans. 4) But if you replace the mattress, wouldn’t you take away from the end table to place your CPAP machine, etc on? 5) I know this is budget conscious, but a larger awning to cover both doors would be nice. I might have to disagree with you on the sacrificial of the window. Appears to have room to extend the awning and place the bracket between the right window and basement door. If you place a large enough order of a certain size, I believe the awning manufacturers will build it for you. Remember, money talks. 6) By chance do they have this same model but only in fiberglass instead? 37) Another fine job on the video Josh. Plan ahead, mark on your calendar to attend the 2025 QCCA RV & Camping show in Rock Island, IL next year. Usually in February. Call the QCCA Expo Center for details. I’m sure your fans would love the meet and greet. Stay dry.
Like the recliners. Wish more Rvs had that. Huge fan of the oven. Hate when Rvs get rid of them. Love all of the huge windows. Love all of the storage in the living room. Love the struts. Wish my Rvs had that. Wish it had a bigger bed. Not a fan of no vet fan. Jayco makes a great product. Have a good day josh!
My Folks had a 527RLS Outback 5th wheel, 6800lbs loaded for travel. Same overall layout. Why can't the manufacturers bring this back in a 5er? Great for couples touring or the occasional weekend with a couple grand kids. (We have parked the elderly 527 under roof for spare sleeping)
Organization is key. we have all electrical, stabilizer, water and sewer components, folding chairs, 2 ladders, rugs and tools stored in there. Anything more is just added weight.
@JoshtheRVNerd it is not my favorite floor plan but it grew on me... thank you so much for teaching me by way of your videos so I am as safe as possible.
There is a difference between inexpensive and cheap, this comes off as cheap. Which is to bad because it has so much potential with just a few upgrades. It is the little details that they are overrlooking, bathroom fan, really! Furniture looks cheap and the knee knocker table is no longer appreciated. Get rid of the window in the bedroom. . Give me a reall queen bed. They just missed the boat in so many areas.
