I tried it out today, thanks for great directions. I had to throw away my mandazis because i put too much baking soda. Didn’t have self rising so my measurements were way off 🙈. Will retry tomorrow I bet will be awesome.

@Phil's Kitchen i have tried out the recipe and i must say it was perfect!!!!!!! I snacked till dropped. To mention i did not use self rising flour. Used regular flour and added baking powder. Thank you for sharing.
