I tried it out today, thanks for great directions. I had to throw away my mandazis because i put too much baking soda. Didn’t have self rising so my measurements were way off 🙈. Will retry tomorrow I bet will be awesome.

Not any more thanks to you. And oooh following instructions is key to getting the recipe right. Mimi na kiherehere yangu niliweka the first three balls on high heat. Weeee machozi..... @Phil's Kitchen i have tried out the recipe and i must say it was perfect!!!!!!! I snacked till dropped. To mention i did not use self rising flour. Used regular flour and added baking powder. Thank you for sharing.
