Watching this, I thought this was a spoof of Only Fools from a sketch show. I had no idea this was a real US version. What a lot of crap this was.

Most British sitcoms remade in America take the characters,situation and scripts and just change the slang and phrases to suit America ears .....this took the family dynamic and the wheeling dealing aspect and scrapped the rest ..which is further proof if it was ever needed how good John Sullivan was

The thing is, they can get it right. Sanford and Son was a pretty damn good US version of Steptoe and Son.

Leguizamo is a great actor and a funny guy but this didn't work.. I wouldn't say it was completely terrible like some people do i think the potential was there.

The American version didn't have John Sullivan writing for them. Nuff said. OFAH was perfect for British comedy. American sitcoms have their own ways and methods, and it simply doesn't work for OFAH. Brilliant writer, awesome storylines and fantastic cast and crew. All the pieces of the jigsaw fit perfectly for the British version.

Kinda Frasier meets Fools!

John Sullivan must be vomiting and turning in his grave. The Americans don't get it do they? Fools and Horses is unique and British and can never be replicated. It was a one off from a true genius and the pairing of David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst was a marriage made in heaven. But every Fools character played leading roles and they all bounced off each other. Where on earth did Trigger come from in the mind of John Sullivan? Easy. There is always one in every pub in the country. The Americans should stick to the Frasiers, Friends etc, because they were brilliant comedies for sure. But show some respect to our British culture.

They had some well known actors taking the parts, so they gave it a good go.

It's marginally funny in its own right. I got a few laughs out of it. But Only Fools and Horses, it is not.

The English only fools and horses is one of the greatest English comedies ever made here in England and the UK, and of all time really. With likeable characters. What's this rubbish?! Americans copy our classics far too much and there remakes are rubbish , they have copied George and mildred,only fools and horses, Peepshow, Inbetweeners and sooo much more. And there all junk. And Leguizamo Is an awful actor anyway
