Worked Wall Street, Mid-Town, Up-Town , the Borough’s and lunch was always an unknown. You take me back to the mid-80’s-2000’s where a vendor would have roast pork shoulders, cart making pasta at one end and sangweech at the other (You had to preorder the day before) Pierogi cart… baked potato cart and OLD SCHOOL Knish KEEP IT UP!!! It’s interesting how street food has evolved in our GREAT city!

This place might be a good idea! every vendor is organized and clean AND there are sitting areas. I would say for anyone who gets back by 9 or 10pm (depending what time they leave), easy chill meal right off of the subway.

And I agree, no freebies... in my town, we've got local insta-idiots trying to get free stuff for their wedding in exchange for "exposure". The 3$ hot dog great deal!!! When you eat tacos: you always have to salt the cilantro onion and squeeze lime on top of it...a must. Also before you eat a Mexican spicy sauce:hot sauce for us it's like medium for Mexicans therefore you must drink milk before you eat it...and after. Thank me later.

The captions 😂 Been there, done that. More than once. Those vendors need to contact Institute for Justice. Vending is constitutionally protected. As for the hot sauce: look on the bright side. The NIH is reviewing properties of capsaicin in fighting cancer. The guy producing the hottest peppers? Started after winning over cancer. Has been cancer free since. Decade plus.

All NY cares about is getting their cut of $ They should issue all current vendors at corona plaza a permit as long as they meet requirements. The people are happy and “legal vendors” in NY eyes collecting permit and tax revenue. The vendors can make money without having to worry about legal repercussions. But that’s to simple for a politician…

She said, "Quattro" $4, so she gave herself a tip. Yes, they need to be allowed to make a legal living. First step is are they in the country legally. If so, we go from there as to their "rights." If not here legally then they need to leave. Try overstaying your visa in Mexico or elsewhere and see what happens. Rules/laws apply to everyone "fairly." Otherwise, you have what you see today.

Chris, I don't agree with permits. Get rid of the permit department and hire health inspectors to make sure the vendors are in compliance. Very fun video with the different foods. I like this style. Great job.

How is the climate in Manhattan right now Chris? I follow Cash Jordan here on YT, and wow! His videos of late have been pretty disturbing. Is it really that bad in Manhattan right now. I haven’t been there in years, and even then NYC had its problems. I greatly enjoy your vids because if there is one thing I truly miss about Manhattan, it’s the street vendor dogs.

I used to haul produce to Hunt Point back in the early 2000s, and the one thing I really miss is freshly made breakfast bagel and a real pizza slice. Anyone knows if you eat real authentic NY cuisine nothing else ever tastes the same.

Chris, are you a masochist? The hottest day of the year and you take the train to Flushing, Queens, the murkiest of murky. I've lived in Manhattan for a few decades. The only carts I've ever eaten at were Billy's and Adel's Famous Halal Food Cart. The only food truck I've gone to is Tony Dragon's on 62nd & Madison.

Great video as always Chris. Nice to see you venturing out above and beyond hot dogs. Such as yourself, I'm a firm believer in law and order, with some degree of regulations. But unfortunately over regulation does exist, to the detriment of freedom and liberty. Both sides of the regulation gig tend to overdo it with their stances. Hope to see some more branching out, trying different types of NYC street food, but never ever forget that da dogs are #1 ! ... Keep up the great content creation ! ...
