Currently playing Mughal also. Some fun facts: if you wait until government reform 3 to form mughal you instantly get to tiers 7. You have a privilege for the ulemas to get 0.5 innovativeness yearly at 100% loyalty. I almost never got any tech ahead of time (most of the time I was even late by 1-2 tech due to deving and coring) and reached 100 innovativeness by 1570 or so. I'm now in 1650 and playing chill. I have 16 tolerance of the true faith and 17% missionary strengh without religious idea. I just convert everything and never get any rebels. All my provinces have -10 or -20 unrest depending on the separtism. I have -70% CCC so I core everything in 8 months and get no rebels either. I have 200% religious unity so even if I had no sunni provinces I would still be at 100%. You have a way to get more tolerance of heathens by using a monument for dharmic religions you get access by finishing "mughal architecture" missions. It's a +2 and +2 max also I think. Another broken thing is to get the thalassocray at T7 by dominating trade in Bengal, Siam, Malacca, Molucques and Philippines. This allow you to create trade protectorates and the HRE is the best place to get them.... I have around 10 free cities and small HRE countries converted to sunni using that.

Hey, remember that Timurids is a reformable nation? Starting out as Uzbeks & completing the Moghulistani missions will make Your reformed Timurids even stronger 💪 (and that includes Mughals or Persia depending on the route You chosen)

If u waited a bit u would have gotten an event that declared war for u and allowed to full annex ajam and its vassals, the Liberty desire reduction is useless since after that war they be loyal anyway and annexed couple years later.

I plan on going full Horse Lords with my Timurid campaign. But Mughals... I'll either do True Heir of Timur with Afghanistan (I almost did it once before but abandoned the campaign for some reason? Maybe an expansion) or I've had a Bukhara -> Mughals while keeping Bukhara ideas campaign planned for a while too. That one actually might be worth considering for this, Bukhara ideas give +1 more Maximum Tolerance of Heathens as well as -2 National Unrest! So the new Mughals Mission Tree just adds on top of that lol As well as a bunch of other cool shit, -20% CCR as a first idea (good compensation for the Mughals Tradition), -5% Tech Cost comes early as well as positive piety accelerator for more Tech Cost, -25% Fort Maintenance (highest in the game!), and even dev cost & construction cost.

You're supposed to wait a bit and the war against Ajam will fire automatically giving province war score reduction so you can eat them and their vassals up in one war

@@CoolBonobo absolutely not doubting you as you're (especially compared to me) an EUIV genius but do you know where i could find more extensive knowledge on this (detailed video or spreadsheet or detailed post or anything like that) plz? I am starting to get some grasp over the game and i feel like trade is such a strong mechanic i'd love to know everything about it, and what you just said sounds really game changing compared to what i just do I may need to rewatch the vid to double check your trade situation whenever i saw you doing that maybe i missed smth
@CoolBonobo
@CoolBonobo Месяц назад
You can check out some trade guides. Also I think Lambda has math focused video about collecting vs transferring. But tbh you can just first put merchant on transfer, check trade income, then change it to collect, and check trade income again. Choose the most profitable. Indian trade nodes are really bad for transfer in general (unless you're European), they leak a lot and it's difficult to create a pseudo end trade node.

@@CoolBonobo Honestly this is trade summed up in a nutshell. If you have 80% in a node and you send it through a node where you have 46%, you just make way less than just collecting. Collecting everywhere till you can make a chain of nodes is usually worth it
