In the chorus it says “like im Boswell” and if anyone doesnt know John Boswell was an openly gay christian in the 1940s through 2010 and disagreed with the way churches taught homosexuality to be something bad. And he even helped found Yales lesbian and gay studies center in the late 1980s! This is just a quick summary of him. Love onlyoneof for always showing support to the LGBTQIA+ community. plus junji’s RAPPP???!!! they ate this

i've seen a lot of people talking about the call backs and references in this mv to their undergrOund idOl series, but i'll just say that the Rie x Junji scenes literally made me emotional in their storyline Rie was very afraid, as we saw him being worried and intimidated when they were in public, and that's (probably) what caused the fighting scene in the "because" mv. but here he was being very open and proud, carrying his rainbow bag.. that made me cry fr

I also enjoyed the song after second listen.have to say the strip of the music especially nine's parts.stil cant believe how junji is so shy,but he is a beast when he sings rap and perform.the bridge is everything

I heard a bit of the Japanese dOra maar at the Kross vol2 Festival and they sounded so good, I hope the full performance will get posted one day

have you seen the live performances yet? they are eating up every single stage, the choreo is insane and they manage to sound incredible even with such an aggressive track and don’t get me started on the stage presence

I loved seOul drift. The video reminded me of some unnamed SM-type artists, like an edgier version of the "standard kpop" video, with of course the OOO twist that makes it 100x cooler. It's also just great that they kept in the elements of a video in this era (however long it will be) that are community-supportive, like that bag. I might have had heavy KB envy that he could call and get a Yoo Jung "on demand." Where do I sign up for this service, please? The choreography was good to see. I think I actually like the song better in Korean, oddly enough. But the meaning of it wasn't given in the Japanese version, and maybe it's me, but it's a bit spicier with lyrics? I need to watch it again. dOra maar hits differently in English, and I'm going to need some time with it to know if I like it. It feels like they have to put a lot of words in a suddenly smaller space somehow? Great to see you, RJ!

I liked the skinz reference in seOul drift too- "look carefully at the inside that's different from it's outside" I love the MV too, it's so pretty

After seeing the guys work out in their behind the scenes to maximize their visuals, you understand it’s part of their maintenance. I watch Seventeen content and they’re fully committed to the same program - they also work out for rehab purposes, in case there are minor injuries. No shame to being fit, they eat well too.

Great reaction 😊 This song is definitely growing on me and YES it sounds amazing in the car turned up! Warning on the English lyrics for dora maar it is not the literal translation from the original Korean song. It was a song contest winner’s English version of the lyrics and they are… disappointing is the nicest way to put it. I honestly wish I never read them because I like how the song sounds but knowing what the English lyrics say kind of ruins it for me. Proceed with caution!

Hard relate to chrOme hearts throwing me off bc I'm so used to how chrOme arts sounds in Japanese lmao It took me a while to get used to it and now I just like both

I have to say, I understood some of Junji's lines but other than that I was so confused with dOra marr... I agree with you, it will require some getting used to it since I have the Korean version stuck in my head. Thank you for this lovely reaction, I am so happy you enjoyed the outfits as well, they made me fall off my chair, I think i will sue hahaha

I don't speak fluent English so I'll do my best to make myself understood haha. I went through exactly the same thing, the song has a strong sensory charge, it is not a song that suits everyone's taste, for me it was shocking and a little difficult to digest at first, I gave it more chances and I already feel more in tune. it has that disturbing feeling like skinz (in my case it was love at first listen) but you have to give opportunity to understand and appreciate all the sounds.

a few years back ooo have a competition where they got fans to write an English version of dora maar for a cash prize called villain that's why the chosen lyrics are a bit off from the og storyline
