Before they retconed Bishop's history,he was originally in the present to stop his hellish future by stopping the traitor to the X-Men which for a while, he thought was Gambit because of someone he knew in the future name the Witness,because he was a witness to the death of the X-Men,he bore a striking resemblance to Gambit but much older,later Marvel retconed it to Hope Summers the first mutant born after the Scarlet Witch's said "No more Mutants "Bishop was hell bent on killing Hope as he saw her as the cause of his future 🤦🏽‍♂️Xaiver being the traitor to the X-Men hits so much harder then this random Mutant chick who shows up out of nowhere, the Onslaught was a good storyline and great artwork by Andy Kubert,thanks for the great video👍🏽

I remember reading these books every month,even waiting for them. Andy had became my favorite artist by this time. Did they ever reveal how Cain found out Onslaught's identity? The memory of Charles about how he feels for Jean was a lot to handle back then. She was a child when she joined him and it's canon! Why I always liked Marvel more than DC,they tried to stick closer to scientific explanations and "realistic",real world situations. Charles isn't as clean as people think. His design for Onslaught was great,a little giving away the secret but great
