Ontario’s Southwest Camping Road Trip: Part 12 - Dalewood Conservation Area (last one) 

Kevin! It's me again. Spotted that moose on the 507. Not sure why I feel the need to share all things Kawartha Highlands related with you but I do! I know you're an avid fisherman. Well Sir let me tell you! I caught, what to me is the largest largemouth in all of Kawartha!! I don't weigh my fish but I did get a pic. What's the biggest bucket mouth that you've pulled out of the park? The beast was caught on Compass Lake by the way 🙌

Kevin, Railway City Brewing Company in St.Thomas has 'Dead Elephant' and on occasion 'Double Dead Elephant' (Only used to come out in September)... you'll have to stop in and get the story behind it next time you're in these parts.

Been to Dalewood quit a few times since I live in London, something to do when it isn't holiday time for me . nice weekend adventure ,as is Springwater conservation in Orwell Ontario real awesome hike there' its near Aylmer Ontario, off hwy.3 east. I am with Kristine I cant handle heights myself and shake, But yes indeed a nice view from the elevated park in St Thomas for sure. supper looked great. It was different as I've said from your usually adventures , But hey I was not disappointed at all and found it educational, sometimes RU-vidrs have to break up what they would normally do in their adventures to mix it up.

I appreciate the need to get back to your roots and memories. I hope it evoked the purity of the good old days of innocent youthful frolicking for you. For me it was probably the unspoiled Scugog river of Lindsay before it got destroyed by the madness of beautification.

I did the walk along the elevated park in St. Thomas. Geocaches in the area! 😊 Never camped at Dalewood though. Have to correct that oversight.

Wow, are there any camping resorts still in ontario. Can one still watch waterfalls for free

Dalewood is 1/2 km away from my house.. I’m out there on my canoe all the time .I can’t believe I missed meeting a celebrity!

Thank goodness its over . All that farm country gets on my nerves . Time for shield country .
