"Can 'you' build a layout to get ready for our show" Asks Tony from 'Tony's Trains of Rugby'. Challenge accepted!
Join us as we build a Narrow gauge layout for Statfold Barn Model Railway Show hopefully in time for the 1st and 2nd of April.
This Episode covers the base board build and initial thoughts on what we are working with.
I ordered my scale model scenery boards from
tonystrainsofrugby.com/ give him a ring or see him in store so he can get them in for you.
BB029 and BB017 are the boards I used.

One locomotive I would Love to see in OO9 is Satfold Barn Railway No. 11 'Fiji'. This narrow gauge tender locomotive needs to be in OO9 scale.

Notice the video (part 10) Saturday night the day before I went to Statfold Barn on the Sunday as I was looking at some research to see which layouts were there. Which is how I found your video on this layout and seeing it at Statfold Barn. It was a nice layout and was also nice to talk to you as well. Great video and looking forward to watch the rest of the videos.

Tony's Trains is a dangerous shop, every time I go in my wallet gets lighter! I'm gutted I cannot make it to Statfold this year as I am at a wedding. I went last year and it was a fantastic day, I preferred it to Warley. I hope you are able to exhibit this somewhere else later in the year as I already want to see this in the flesh

Don't want to tread on any toes here, but do you fancy some very precise 009 GWR slate wagons. Knocked up the 3D model as a printer test over Christmas, not sure what to do with them, I also have a coach. I can remodel that if you have drawings/reference. As for the detail and quality..... well if you can please the "scalefour society" your doing something right.

This is great! Nice to see Tony on video, his stand at shows is always good and his site too, I'm looking forward to visiting his shop in person one day. I saw he was at Doncaster and fully intended to visit his stand but the day turned out a little crazy and I ran out of time. This is an exciting challenge though, Tris - best of luck, I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Statfold Barn show is now in the calendar
