Here's a detailed breakdown of how I set up my leagues and all the Custom Views I use throughout the year.
I said the trade deadline was July 21st for some reason... of course it's July 31st.

This is great. If you can just provide us an ~30 minute update on key items that you adjusted as you began the OOTP 25 focus with the Guardians that would be awesome. Summarize key learnings from the 24 playthrough.

This is one of the best tutorials I've seen, which is saying something. Only pick I'd make is with 24 you MUST adjust how the AI evaluates players between ability/stats. And perhaps turn down Trading. Play/Sim some seasons on default and you'll see why.

Going through your Marlins playthrough currently after a friend recommended it, had not seen any of your OOTP content before but really enjoying it. Was cool to hear you work at Fangraphs and now also at OOTP! That's awesome, our play styles are similar in that you try to keep it realistic etc so I really enjoy that element. What do you do at OOTP? (If I can ask that). Look forward to the rest of the content for the new game!

Love this videos! Very helpful! If you don't mind me asking how do you go about your global "bench when fatigued" settings for batters and pitchers? Also if you set these do you still set your bench players to play certain positions every so many days. Just trying to avoid having to daily manage fatigue and have less probability for injuries. Can't seem to find good info on this subject. Thanks!

regarding the Hank Aaron Award and pitchers not winning the MVP. since you disable pitchers from winning the MVP, you could change the name for the MVP to the Hank Aaron Award, and it will function as the best hitter award like you are wanting. just a thought :)

A lot of the time I play as JUST the field manager because I don't like messing with the financials and getting a note that says my owner won't authorize paying a guy a certain salary and all of that stuff.

Thanks for the video. When you "shop a player" is there a way to turn the view for AI offered player contracts on and off? For some reason, when I go to shop a player, there's no contract info shown on the menu when the AI offers me a player in the trade. I would love to see what the AI's player's contract is so I know if I can take on that contract, and I won't have to sift through it for hours.

When you shop a player, the contract info is listed in between the Potential & the Stats on that page with all the players. is that what you mean or are you meaning somewhere else?

@@sporer_ Yes, but it's not showing up on my game. I think I may have bumped a interface / viewing setting the 1st time I opened the game, and I have no idea how to get the contract info to show back up again on the shop player screen where it's supposed to be.

@@DJ80s oh wow, really? I didn't even know that data was editable. Is it maybe cut off bc of the size of your window? Maybe try full screening the game if it's not already or changing your resolution? Those are my best options here

@@sporer_ Thanks for the advice. I'll toy around with my scren resolution and see if maybe that helps. That same though crossed my mind that maybe my current resolution could be compressing the screen. I'll give it a try! Thanks again, and thanks for your videos!

I fired my hitting coach but cannot hire a new one. I get a message that says my manager has control over hiring a hitting coach. I checked the manager options, and it does not look like that is accurate.

You may have given him that option. Click the gear on the right and see if it says Manager on Sign/Fire Team Personnel

Bloody shame all the international leagues are gone. Hardly the World of Baseball anymore. Fictional Japanese players coming over to MLB in a save just stink.
