I'm a renault fan boy but i need to say that opel made a really good car with the corsa OPC and it also looks really good plus it is 10k price difference and manual gearbox ftw

Corsa OPC is the best small hot hatch you can have. Better then Audi S1, Polo GTI, Mini S, Fiesta ST, clio rs, peugeot 208 etc. You get the best sport chassis, dampers, recaro seats etc.

I just love the Opel's styling alot more, besides that, these models are dailydriven cars with the occasional trackday...both will be alot of fun and both won't reach it's limits on the local tracks...so who actually cares ;-)

+derbigpr500 sorry to dissapoint you, but opel interiors are actually for its class the best quality interiors out here. No squeaking and almost everything including the dash is soft touch. Its also very well built.

I would definitely go for the OPC. Interior looks better than the Clio’s (exterior is equal I would say, both cars look great from the outside but I still prefer the Corsa) and it is manual which is way more fun. I also would say that the Corsa in general has a better build quality and is more reliable.

Give us some times for comparison! 0-100 for example Both cars look great on the outside, especially with the orange color but I don't like the Clio interior and seats.

Clio RS200 EDC have superior transmition to that Corsa...it is simply faster gearbox than manual...a lot faster.

I drove both. And the clio is a nice car, for sure. But the OPC makes more fun. Much more fun. And i own one. And that was the best decision in my entire life.

Corsa has less power and more weight but still so close accelerating and has so close top speed. Corsa looks way better on inside and outside. Corsa wins. Opel is the best money/performance car over the world.

I like my opc corsa, it's so fun to drive on curvy roads. Otherwise stock, but little bit wider tires to get more grip. No point in revving corsa over 6k rpm.

Gašper Prijon gear box alone doesnt make a car beast. This facelifted one is 30 percent quicker than the one in the pre facelift clio. It has more power than the opel, a faster, more efficient gear box, a factory built in launch control system and is a quicker car to begin with. I think the exterior is miles better looking than the opel also

OfficialMINIm The 220hp version is only slightly slower than Corsa OPC, regarding the looks, to each their own, but my OPC is blue with black hood, roof, and mirrors, and tinted windows, and i c an assure u it looks awesome :)

Rather the corsa cuz stick shift, paddle shift ruins the point of hot hatch fun. On a side note if I was to buy a clio it would have to be the V6.

I would rather take the Fiesta ST. Cheaper, with a Mountune stage1 kit is can have 200hp without the boost and weighs less as well.

You didn't know the real conditions of the street, weather, etc. By the way, the Renault have a DCT, what explains the touch of better acceleration, but at higher speeds, it becomes very slow where the OPC is a bit faster. The Renault doesn't even make top speed according to the speedometer.

Why do you only put the Corsa against an automatic transmission car? Plus the acceleration tests? That didn’t count, the corsa started from a standstill were as the horrid looking cleo had a rolling start 👎🏻

It’s a ‘B segment’ chassis platform, so chassis only is used on Renault/Nissan/Dacia. Opel/Vauxhall chassis is shared with Fiat/Chrysler. Don’t make comments unless you know facts, saves you looking a twat, life lesson, you’re welcome

for the same reason others request a manual, people want one, I love mine, love its up-shift crackle and enjoy spanking my mates Fiesta ST even though i like that car too. (^-^)
