It won't work. Wd40 will freeze during winter time and an issue'll come back. By the way the easiest way is to spray using a lubricant thru the gap by the cabin filter. Long rubber pipe will be needed to do so to reach the top of ventilator. In my Signum problem came back when temperature dropped till -10C. I'm gonna remove whole fan and engine inside it, clean it and lubricate.
Hello Armin . If you have a bad smell in the air conditioning, this likely from air filter or evaporator. I think evaporator because , when you use the air conditioner in cold mode. Steam accumulates around the evaporator.If the steam dried there with dust,bacteria etc. They smell. I have a vectra c. my suggestion to you. you can do these. I firstly used würth evaporator cleaner.Evaporator cleaner applied Air conditioning water drain. later I changed the carbon air filter.Now It's odorless like water .See you
Hi and thanks for the video! Just one question... did you work on the blower unit or the AC? Judging from the noise at the end of the video it seemed to be the blower... I'm asking because my blower stopped working. If your video showed how to make the blower work again I'm safed! Would be great to receive your answer. Thank you in advance and Cheers! 😎
If your blower has stopped working u may need to replace the resistor pack but there's also a little 5pin relay thats often overlooked. I lost blower speed settings 1 2 and 3 changed the relay and its working on all 4 speeds again

I have problem with the actuator, controlling the recycling on a '08 CDTI, Its located on the top right, of the AC. Its clicking, and its like not in the right position/timing. Any experience with this ?
unfortunately yes and it usually result in changing the flap, in some odd cases the problem was the actuator itself and needed to be change. set the AC on recirculation and look and see if the flap is moving (or trying to) maybe you are lucky and just need to change the flap

Good video, Have you people heard of the recall on the Opel Zafira "B" heater rectifier setting fire to the cars, my recall repair done in April 2016, now GM Opel have issued another recall for the same job to change what they have just repaired the heater with and are going to fix something else instead, this does not effect the climate controlled models. When I turn on air condition inside my vectra c 2006 1.9 cdti,and everthing works normali but problem is when I turn off air condition and start again there is ugly smell and I dont now what to do..Can you tell me what can be a problem ??
+Shaba Shaba I bet it smells like sweaty feet, this is caused by bacteria/fungi on the cooling pipes, you need to put fan on full with air con switch on and us DETTOL disinfectant spray, sprayed down the air intake on the outside of the car below the windscreen this clears the smell, also might be a good idea to change the pollen filter and give the new one a spray as well before fitting.
My Zafira B is blowing cold air from the left side (driver side) and it is not on the right side (co-driver) side. Is this due to the controller you were inspecting with the light bulb?
In my vectra c 2.2, the outside temperature sensor is malfunctioned and it shows -20 degree Celsius when actual temp is 30 degree. Due to this AC of car turns on heater when I need AC, Is there a way to bypass outside temp sensor...?
