So someday you're going to have to explain how you are able to be so expressive on that instrument. The control you have over the dynamics is insanely good and honestly takes the music from the arena of "song" into the world of "experience." Thank you for the gift of that, but I'd love to hear you talk a bit about how you're able to do that.
@@kennyw871 There's definitely more to it than just that. A lot of us have played open tunings, but haven't been able to replicate what Mr. Tallstrom is doing. There's the varying speed and intensity with which the strings are individually plucked, modifying the volume and presence of each note in relation to the others for one, but it seems there's more going on than is visible on the surface.
I regularly listen to many of the greatest acoustic guitarists who record and share/publish their music. I have come to appreciate your work and put you among the great acoustic guitarists playing today. Your music has moved me to tears. Thanks be to God for your talent and disciplined work skills. 🙏
beautiful indeed. I've been subscribed to you since years ago when I first discovered your arrangement of Forever Young. Then I learned how to play it using the tabs that you're giving for free. The ending of the song is perfect. It's amazing how simple movements could make a beautiful melody. Open G tuning is magical.
