Open Season coming back has made me the happiest, most wealthiest person on earth. My networth has increased to a Barbillion, I live in a mansion and now own an armada of discord kittens. So thank you Open Season, for coming back. This will be without a doubt be the most important comeback and show in cinema history.

When I saw the news I literally cried. Open Season was one of the most deep, thought provoking stories of interracial friendships I’ve ever seen. It was cancelled because it was too ahead of its time. Finally we can get the epic conclusion we all needed to this incredible story ✊
If only Sony had enough dollar bucks to buy out Lionsgate. (Although Sony competing with Disney In buying out companies is Probably gonna be more entertaining than that. I guess.)
Im honestly suprised that Sony's greenlit an Open Season show after so long. I think it's too late since there's barely an audience for these movies nowadays and the franchise itself isn't all that successful
so i worked on this show, and can tell you it was all done prior to the strike. it also was also outsourced in canada, and the strike only affected new productions for us up here.@@crimsondynamo615

Now, all we need is Xeno Boog, which is probably going to be the animated serie's Boog, created by Time Patroller Ashton Kutcher. Welp, time to go powerscale for the Boog vs. Goku Death Battle.

Most of the characters actually look passable in this style. Some even look good, dare I say, so of course I completely expect it to all look like trash once it is actually in motion.

The first episode should open with Elliot and Boog about to do a crazy stunt, but just before they do it Elliot turns to Boog and says "ok Boog, it's time to Open the Season!" Not only would it be a cute reference to the franchise's name, but it would also be a meta joke about TV shows. 12/10

Welp, 2 days after the car my mom had got wrecked by a deer and now I learned that Open Season is getting a show, even though this was announced before I still feel like that was a omen of some kind.
I'm actually interested to see the new Open Season tv show honestly. It's cool that they're now being designed in 2D, instead of 3D animation, and Boog is the reason I enjoy the Open Season franchise because he's my favorite laid-back grizzly bear. I think that Open Season 3 never happened, and it's the only one of the four films that's garbage imo, due to the writers breaking Boog's character to act like his best friend Elliot crashing a shopping cart into the mini mart, which he really wouldn't do. Also I can tell you hate Open Season, but since another Sony Pictures movie franchise Hotel Transylvania had a tv show. It doesn't seem wrong for an underrated franchise like Open Season to have one.

That was destroyed at the end of scared silly, so either this is a midquel between 2 and scared silly, a midquel between 1 and scared silly (meaning 2 isn't canon anymore), or scared silly simply isn't canon. scared silly takes place before 2 but after 1 i thought that was kinda obvious not sure about the mr weenie discrepancy but the whole vibe felt like boog and elliot were just starting to become solid friends after the events of the 1st movie. And it would make sense that shaw is the villain immedietly after 1 because if scared silly takes place after 2 it implies he waited a whole year or so to return. however how does boog have dinkleman again i thought he lost him
To be honest. Even the movies beforehand gave off the vibe that it should’ve been an animated series instead. Same with Alpha and Omega. Y’know with the budget art style and everything?
