Yes such a great game. There is a little know secret "room" near your starting location. You have to face the opening of your crash pod and walk to the rock formation behind it. By keeping to your left and using the deconstructor you can remove a rock wall and access it (my directions are probably shitty but english is not my first language). Pretty good loot for the start of the game!

The quality of items you find in the blue chests are determined by your TI level so leaving them alone until later can be beneficial as you'll have a bigger chance of getting some higher tier supplies. The items in the blue chests are also random, If you throw down a save BEFORE looking inside one, and then take a look, if you don't like what's in there or after something in particular, say you need food and there's none in there, reload your save and the items will re-randomize. You can also hold your control key in the crafter and craft all your bottles of water(and the other craftables in there) without having to go back into the crafter for each individual item. The loose resources on the ground come down with the meteors. And yeah there is fall damage now, but mainly from higher drops, more dangerous when you're hungry.

Tips for new people("my opinion"). 1) its the year 3053 if floating bothers you then a building producing unlimited oxygen should to also remember the show the jetsons they had floating buildings. 2.) Dont waste iron on platforms in the beginning wait till you unlock the ore extractors. 3.) Chests dont get better as your ti increases thats a myth they have set rewards based on the location and the ti your supposed to be at in oder to reach those areas. 4.) Make sure to work on all stats at once otherwise youll get stuck waiting for certain ones to catch back up in order to progress. 5.) If your having trouble with food explore any wreckages as they might have food. 6.) If you need more tips i can help as ive already covered all the way up to the trading update

Chests absolutely give better stuff at higher Ti it is no myth. That said waiting to open them is silly as there isn't anything special you get in them late game that you can't make yourself. Best to open them all for stuff that's useful in your current stage.

14:23 Wow, that's new! Previously you could only deconstruct the entire compartment (you did at least get the resources back for the door as well). The stairs will snap to the door; I think it's slightly neater than snapping them to foundations.

I really like this game, I hope you like it so you continue a full season. You may not like it because there is no hunting or killing of enemies. But you excel at gathering and building, and I hope that's enough for you to not lose interest in the game.

There was an update that provided a new area think it's a lava biom and some new items. Also there are several cool slice of life mods for the game as well. Please take a look and hopefully there could be a third season.

Don't forget to find the golden chests, early on golden seeds will give a nice boost to stats also microchips are about, there was a golden chest in the cave you were in, I won't tell you where as I know you'll find it, I look forward to seeing your progress

Hello GE, good to see you running this one again after all the updates. if you scroll down on your blueprints you will find the crate. I know its been a while since you have played but one can deconstruct the random ground crates which give an iron I think and they do not return. don't forget about the gold crates think there are like 12 to 14 as of last play prior to the two latest updates. Also GE I believe there is a snap mod for the game and several other cool ones on Nexus mods. Just in case you want to make a new run show casing them. GE after gathering resources off the cave floors they do not return based off my play time. But you can use the resource mining drills to gather them. The meteors do bring down resource replacements, and one can use the rockets when the launch platform blueprint becomes available, from last play I remember one can use rockets to call specific resources. I play the game since it came out. But gfx needs to be optimized. Little hint; there's a hidden golden chest behind the wall right behind your rescue pod. Use deconstruction mode and scan the wall to find it ;--)

Until explored most places I use to carry around enough materials to build a Living Compartment with door, since then have shelter and oxygen. Then do not need to run around looking for the mats along save time. Normally also have enough for storage, maybe a constructor too so can get water. Then start collect stuff around the compartment. Place it often close to caves or POI's or other strategic places. Often let I dump off most stuff and maybe some food and water, then move on for later do transfer runs. Then I have shelters all around, since most resources are infinite later on.

one more thing tho.. they gave us frogs to research now. and make sure you build upwards, cuz your going to make lakes. kinda up on a little ledge or something. my lakes are just starting and im pretty sure it will gobble up my landing pod soon ..hope it doesnt but lol if it does! sorry two posts but im a scatter brained ADD sort of person so excuse me :)

I feel like this game could be played with a challenge mode where you don't "mine" anything manually. I'm pretty sure you could get everything that you need in this game from chests, miners, and other stations. Not a complaint at all. I would definitely prioritize looting over resource gathering.

An excellent game that I picked up after watching you play it. I now have two complete games and I’ve started a third. I like that is doesn’t have jump scares or attacks. Pressing the ctrl key and clicking the item in inventory will transfer all of that item into storage if you have room in storage.

Same. I thought to start over and thought about the process of getting to where my current save is and decided I didn’t want to. I’ll just wait for the next update. I have 49 fish farms. Do you know how long those took to make? 29 T3 tree spreaders? I’m now up to 14 frog farms which is not a lot but since there are no mammals yet I guess I can stop.

It's good watch the way different people this game. I got 760hrs playing this and even when you get breathable air sometimes you forget about food and water and when you kick the bucket you. lose all the stuff you were carrying in Intense mode. Also when you explore the top wreck you'll find a suprise on the top of it.

The asteroids bring loose materials, if you don't collect the they disappear. As you progress they drop more rare materials, super alloy, iridium, uranium ect.
