I booted to recovery but keyboard and trackpad don’t work I thought to myself can problem for another time but not even the external mouse and keyboard work so it’s seems like I mapped usb ports wrong. I was pretty confused on that part i’ll keep trying

Sorry for the very late response. Try USBInjectAll.kext with XHCIPortLimit to true at first then do your USB Port Mapping.

i have another question, how do i do that "vault" thing? when trying to boot it says there isn't one and to make one i have to use a ".command" file and i don't have an actual mac. how do i bypass this?@@Studio3BRocks

I’ve seen that before. Do you have the right efi drivers in the thumb drive? Hfsplus.efi for example

I have not tried Monterey but try making sure you are on the latest version of OC

Yes we don’t hack the OS per se we mock the hardware and efi so the software is able to run. the createInstallMedia command is what you are looking for. Look at the create installer from macos version of the dortania guide for more info. That being said you can’t directly install on pc without some level of this which opencore is there to solve for you.

SSDTTime is the best way that takes the least effort. You should run this on the computer you are installing macOS on, but from a Windows or Linux environment. (Since I assume macOS isn't up and running yet).

@@Studio3BRocks sorry, I forgot to mention I’m trying to run macOS High Sierra, will it still not work? Should I go to an older macOS version? Because I saw on the link you sent it said it only won’t work on Mojave and newer.

Have you enabled debugging and logging?

Try add -vsmcgen=X in boot-args where X is the gen reported ie.1 or 2 that needs to be exposed to the system

@@Studio3BRocks It's normal, i guess you have life (and the time=life) I figured out later, how can i install macOS with succeed, so i'm already using Catalina with full support (plus Win7 with dualboot; the last good OS from MS..) Before Cat, i installed B.Sur, and Monterey (but i didn't liked them, and Catalina feels more "snappy" on my old HW, especialy with beamsync, SIP and other bullshits disabled) then revert back to Catalina. ​@@Studio3BRocks In the past (2006-2013) i learned about how install macOS on PC and i used them from tiger to mavericks. But that way was the "oldschool way" (before EFI) so the install method/logic was not "totaly" new for me. But after i had a big pause for almost a decade, so.. Alot things changed. But the new way is much easier even with some unsucceeded try's than the older method was in the past. Unfortunately on "reddit" and other forums i found just bullshits and nothing is worked (for me at least; may be just bad luck i dunno but i found there nothing useful) Finaly i used my brain and had to try figure out how the new appleOS(es) "soul" works behind/under the hood :D And this way just worked. Almost instantly. The only thing what i don't understand for now: Why the fully ok. EFI (the OC version, not the Clover) what worked perfectly with Monterey, absolutely not worked with Catalina. And i found one thing what i never saw in the tutorial videos, but it's important. May be it helps for you (and/or your followers) What i found: Even IF the installer pendrive/media is fully ok, BUT the CSM is not (fully) disabled during the install: The installed OS will NOT create any EFI partition on the HDD/SSD. It's works totaly, everything is fine, but can't boot without the installer media. And the "OC or Clover" EFI folder isnt possible put to the install-drive after, it's simply not exists. So i install these OS-es with CSM fully disabled since i noticed this "issue" (not a true "issue", because probably the installer detect the PC "bios"/uEFI is not set to CSM disabled) The funny thing is: When the macOS(es) installed like this, works well even with CSM (re)enabled after. I just telling you this, because many peoples use their PC's with CSM enabled. For example some gamerts (because less input and latency lag in the games) I'm using Win7 instead of shitty Win10/11 so... My win7 installer CAN install the OS itself with CSM-disabled, BUT the installed Win7 can not booting after with it, only if i RE-enable the CSM. Just a tip. I dunno it's useful for you (or the others) or not, but who knows, maybe somebody else has/had same problem.

@@Hazardteam Interesting story. I pretty much always have CSM disabled and can dual boot into Windows 10 no problem. Maybe I should make a video and go through bios settings more thoroughly? Its certainly stated in the guide to disable CSM among other things.
