This short video show a brazilian modpack called 'GTA São Paulo', featured with different vehicles, peds, skins and unique redub in portuguese for missions.
Since most of the mods require the replacement of files, I decided to create a modloader that work across all games of the series.
They can be installed by just moving the files to a folder called 'opengta' or 'update' (reference to GTA IV).
It is planned to include a mod view in menu, where you can edit the priority. It will provide a modular way of joining mods together, just like how Minecraft do with resource packs.
The engine is indeed being rewritten, now based on OpenRW.
The reversed code is being treated to a fine and stable version, since the original engine have a lot of flaws.
Sadly, fixing the flaws can make some mods less funnier... maybe adding a toggle in settings(?) can bring the bugs back.
LibRW, the engine dependency of OpenGTA will be soon replaced by flossAGE.
flossAGE is a fork of LibRW. But instead of C++, it will be written in C (and possibly Fortran).
The main goal is to optimize, stabilize, be compatible with different platforms and provide a fixed engine capable of building all versions.
Since the engine is not 100% re-re-written, there will be no link for it.
If you will to help, I appreciate, but I prefer ending this goal first and release it public.
Sorry for the time I did not uploaded any content of it.
